Public Release for Schools Operating the Seamless Summer Option
The USDA has issued nationwide waivers allowing schools to operate the Seamless Summer Option during the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. North Iowa Community School District has elected to participate in the Seamless Summer Option during school year 2021-2022.
Free meals will be provided to ALL children and Applications for Free and Reduced Price School Meals/Milk will not be necessary to participate in Seamless Summer Option. Applications for Free and Reduced Price School Meals will be available from the school, as an application may be needed for other benefits such as P-EBT.
FREE meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:
North Iowa Community School Commons. August 23, 2021 – May 26, 2022, Monday-Friday on School Days – Serving Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Serving Lunch from 10:40 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Children 1-18 who are not attending school are welcome for breakfast between 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., and for lunch between 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Students must have an available lunch balance to purchase a 2nd Entrée at $1.25 for HS/MS Students (When Available), or a 2nd Milk/Juice at $0.50 for all students who have been given permission by you during registration.
Deposits can be made online by logging into Family JMC. You will need to log in to the current school year. You can select forgot password to reset if you do not know your password.
Accounts are district-wide and are family accounts. There must be an available balance in meal account to purchase seconds.
