Walk-in Registration: August 1 from 2-6 PM in the HS Media Center for ALL grades.

Online registration will also be available mid-July on the homepage: http://www.northiowa.org/

Extra-Curricular/Activities Required Student/Parent Meeting: August 5

All students who are involved in any type of extra-curricular for the school year are asked to attend this kick-off meeting on August 5th.  All students need to be accompanied by at least one parent. The program for the evening will be as follows:

  • 5:30 PM. Commons. Free meal provided.
  • 6:30 PM. Auditorium. An overview will be presented to all parents/students on our extra-curricular programs. Author Ethan Miller will be sharing highlights from his books and experiences.

5th Grade Transition & Laptop Roll-out: August 15 at 7:00 PM in the Commons with Mrs. Miller.

9th Grade Transition & Laptop Roll-out: August 15 at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium with Mrs. Bergeson.

  • A parent/guardian is required to attend these meetings with their child . We will do a handbook overview and other important information for 5th & 9th grade students.

Elementary Back to School Conferences: August 23 (12:00-6:00 PM) and August 26 (1:00- 7:00 PM)

  • K-Prep – 4th grade students have scheduled conferences. Students should plan to come with their parents and bring supplies along at the scheduled time.

– The first day of school for elementary will be on August 27.

Middle School Back to School Conferences on August 23 (12:00- 6:00 PM) & August 26 (1:00-7:00 PM)

  • 5th-8th grade students have scheduled conferences.
  • 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students will receive their laptops at Back to School conferences.  Students will need to bring in their signed technology forms and insurance payments.  Forms will be available at Walk-in Registration or will be available at Back to School conferences. All fees must be fully paid and up to date (past and current fees) in order to take a computer home. If all fees are not paid, students will need to check computers in at the end of each school day and will not be allowed to take them home until a family’s account is up to date.

– The first day of school for Middle School students will be on August 27.

High School Computer Rollout on August 23 – the first day of classes for high school

  • 10th through 12th grade students will get their laptops on the first day of school, which is scheduled for August 23. Students will need to bring in their signed technology forms and insurance payments on or before August 23. Students who do not have their technology forms will not be issued a computer on the first day of school . All fees must be fully paid and up to date (past and current fees) in order to take a computer home. If all fees are not paid, students will need to check computers in at the end of each school day and will not be allowed to take them home until a family’s account is up to date.

– 10th through 12th grade students will have a handbook overview meeting followed by their computer checkout on the first day of school, August 23.

– All 9th through 12th grade students will report to the auditorium on the first day of school at 8:20 AM for general announcements.
