Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning times for the 2020 winter sports season:

Monday: 6:15 and 7:00am

Wednesday: 6:15 and 7:00am

Friday: 7:00am

Anyone 7th-12th grade are encouraged to come lift any or all of the above listed times.

Strength and conditioning plays an important role in the success of all athletes across all sports.  In the off season, athletes should continue to work to maintain their stamina, muscle building & balance, and mobility as well as enhance coordination and proper body mechanics.  North Iowa strives to build successful sports programs and encourages consistency with the strength & conditioning program for all student athletes.  The S&C program will set the athlete up for continued success beyond the walls or field’s of high school.  Each sports program will benefit from taking advantage of our skilled staff in the weight room.

Due to COVID-19, anyone in the weight room should continue to maintain social distancing, wear masks whenever needed and stay in established pods.
