Cross Country

There will be a no-cost cross country camp open to every middle or high school boy and girl in the North Iowa school district starting on August 3rd, meeting on the east side of the school by the main gymnasium entrance at 9 AM.  The camp will run from Monday through Friday and will roughly be an hour in length each day.  Any athlete that is interested in running or finding out more about cross country is encouraged to attend.  Dress for activity and bring a good pair of running shoes.

Official cross country practice for high school athletes will begin on the 10th of August at 9:00 AM – meeting in the North Gym lobby in Buffalo Center.  Middle school practice will begin the first day of middle school at 3:45 – at the same location as the high school practice.  Please bring a completed athletic physical to the first day of practice.  If you have any questions please contact Jonathan Potter at 641-562-2890.

All athletes will need the following forms signed by a parent/guardian in order to play:  concussion form, permission to practice, athletic physical exam. Please bring to the first day of practice.

Coaches will continue to check and document temperatures each day before practice.  Players should remain home if they feel ill for any reason.  Any positive COVID exposure or illness information should be relayed to coaches ASAP.
