I had taught Social Studies for 13 years prior to becoming a principal. The SD schools I have been a part of were: Howard, Baltic, and Tri-Valley. I also enjoyed coaching football, basketball, and yes, even volleyball coach over those years.
I earned my masters at South Dakota State University, in Brookings South Dakota. Prior to coming to North Iowa, I was a principal in Beresford, SD, for 2 years.

I have been married to my wife Susan since 1994. She is originally from Madison, SD and works for the EROS Data Center as a web developer/programmer. We have two sons, Aaron (10) and Isaac (7), and a daughter, Amber (4). We are currently living in Buffalo Center, IA.
