Activity tickets can be picked up at the home JV/V volleyball game tonight.  If not picked up at the game, they will be distributed on Friday.  If you have not purchased one yet and would like to - tickets cost $40 for students, $60 for adults and $180 for family – and include all home volleyball, football, basketball, softball and baseball games except state sponsored events (does not include the musical or fall play).

 

REMINDERS:

 

Just a reminder that if you would like seconds at lunch or breakfast you need to have money in your account.  You can also pay in the lunch line.  Extra at lunch is 75 cents, extra milk is 25 cents.  Breakfast – extra juice is 25 cents, second breakfast is $1.25. Also, when getting seconds in the lunch line it takes the computer a couple seconds to process - please do not leave until Vicki says it is ok.  Low balance notices will be handed out today.

 

8th grade DC participants – Please remember that you can earn money towards your trip by picking up trash after varsity home football games.  Mr. Huntington will be in charge.  First home FB game is this Friday.

 

U.S. flag – Mrs. Bidne’s homeroom will be taking care of the flag this week.  A specific homeroom will be responsible each week.  Next week:  Mrs. Matson’s homeroom.

 

A couple of reminders for the first home football game this Friday.  1) We are hosting West Fork.  2) Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  3)  Admission prices are: Adult $5 Student $5.

 

Middle School girls that would be interested in Cheering for the one home middle school football game Sept 21st should sign up in the Middle School media center. Practices will be Wednesday's after school on the stage starting Sept 1st.

 

MS Football and Volleyball – 7/8 Football practice will be in B.C. after school; 7/8 Volleyball practice will be held in Thompson after school.  MS sports participants - please remember to sign up for the sport shuttle daily if you need a ride – only if you need a ride from Buffalo Center at 5:45 (back to Rake, Lakota or Thompson).  Volleyball participants will continue to ride Rosella’s Bus #7 at 3:30 p.m. to Thompson - and then if needed ride back to B.C. leaving Thompson at 5:30 p.m. Thank you.

 

Students need to have their student planners/passports with them at all times, especially if they want/need to leave the classroom.  It will cost $5.00 to replace a lost or abused planner/passport.

 

Cell phones are not allowed in the classrooms.  If a student has a cell phone in his/her possession, the teacher may take the phone and bring to the MS office.

 

Study Tables will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3:40-4:40 pm and will be held in the HS Media Center.  Students may be assigned to Study Table by a teacher, parents, and/or by Mr. Embrock.  Students who receive 4 late homework slips in a quarter will be required to attend Study Table.  Students may voluntarily attend Study Table to get homework done and/or get extra help or tutoring from teachers.

 

No school on Monday, Sept. 6th due to the Labor Day Holiday.

No middle school practices will be held that day.
