National Food Safety Education Month – remember to pick up a crossword puzzle from the cafeteria – the winner will receive a prize from the cooks.

Spectator bus – there was not enough people signed up to ride to the football game at Lake City. Friday, Sept. 26^th – will try again to take a bus to Rockwell City – need at least 20 people to sign up - $7.00 includes admission – parents and students are invited. Please sign up in the middle school or high school office.

7^th VB team – great job on winning 5 out of 6 games against W-CL-T yesterday. Great job serving – Sierra Whipple had 18 serves in a row. Good luck at your next game – Lake Mills on Sept. 25^th! Coach Steffensen

REMINDERS:

1^st quarter mid-term – is today. Reports will be mailed out by the end of next week.

8^th grade field trip to St. Paul – changed from Oct. 17^th to Oct. 24^th.

Wednesday, Sept. 24^th – 1:30/1:50 dismissal due to staff development.

7/8 football and 7/8 volleyball schedule –

Friday - 7/8 FB & VB practices after school – shuttle leaves Thompson at 4:50 (varsity FB game at Lake City).

Monday – 7/8 FB & VB practices after school – shuttle leaves Thompson at 5:30.

Tuesday – 7/8 FB home games with Lake Mills at 4:15.

Wednesday – 1:30 dismissal – no practices – no shuttle.

Thursday – 7/8 VB home games with Lake Mills at 4:15. 7/8 FB practice after school – shuttle leaves Thompson at 5:30.

Friday – 7/8 FB & VB practices after school – shuttle leaves Thompson at 4:50 (varsity FB game at Rockwell City).
