REMINDERS:

 

The FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL is going to be held on Sunday, October 12th form 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Thompson.  Some of the activities are:  Haunted House, Pumpkin Decorating, Hay Rides, Kids’ Games & Crafts, Craft Show—Local, Vendors Local, Entertainment, Weiner Roast, Face Painting, Miniature Golf, Balloon Animals, Story Time.

 

7th/8th grade Choral Fest Members:  Practices this week are for girls on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 a.m. and for boys on Friday, October 10 at 7:30 a.m.

 

7/8 Fall Dance – Saturday, Oct. 11th at NIMS – 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

 

Lifetouch picture retake day will be Friday, Oct. 10th – for students wanting retakes or for those that were absent 9/8/08.   Photographers will start out in B.C. at 8:30 a.m. and will travel to Thompson after that.

 

7/8 football and 7/8 volleyball schedule –

Thursday – 7/8 VB games at Lake Mills at 4:15 – bus leaves at 3:20.   7/8 FB games at Belmond at 4:00 – bus leaves at 2:30.  No sport shuttle.

Friday – 7/8 FB & 7/8 VB practices after school – shuttle leaves Thompson at 4:50 due to the varsity FB game at Garrigan.

 

Fall conferences will be held Oct. 28th and Oct. 30th in B.C.

Appointment letters for K-8th will be distributed next week.
