picture retake day is today for students wanting retakes or for those that were
absent 9/8/08. Photographers will start out in B.C. at 8:30 a.m.
and will travel to Thompson after that.
Students will be called out of class as needed. Please
let the office know if you are planning on having your picture taken.

Student Council meet in the media center during flex
today.
The 8th grade football team traveled to Belmond yesterday and defeated
the Broncos 45-18. Keep up the hard
work! BTR!
7/8 Fall Dance Saturday, Oct. 11th at NIMS 7:00 p.m. to 9:30
p.m. Admission is $2 with pizza and pop available. If you are helping decorate, please be here
at 6:30 p.m.
Lost this week dusty rose canvass tote bag if found, please
return it to the office.
REMINDERS:
The
FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL
is going to be held on Sunday, October 12th form 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the
Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Thompson.
Some of the activities are: Haunted
House, Pumpkin Decorating, Hay Rides, Kids Games & Crafts, Craft
ShowLocal, Vendors Local, Entertainment, Weiner Roast, Face Painting,
Miniature Golf, Balloon Animals, Story Time.
7/8 football and 7/8 volleyball schedule
Friday 7/8 FB & 7/8 VB practices after
school shuttle leaves Thompson at 4:50 due to the varsity FB game at Garrigan.
Monday 7/8 FB & 7/8 VB practices after
school shuttle leaves Thompson at 5:30.
Tuesday 8th FB game at Mason City
Roosevelt at 4:15 bus leaves at 2:30.
7/8 VB & 7th FB practices after school shuttle leaves
Thompson at 5:30.
Wednesday 7/8 VB & 7/8 FB practices after
school shuttle leaves Thompson at 5:30.
Thursday 7/8 VB games at home with Garner at
4:15. 7/8 FB games at home at 4:00
(make-up games). No sport shuttle.
Friday no practices no shuttle.
Fall conferences will be held
Oct. 28th and Oct. 30th in B.C.
Appointment letters for K-8th
will be distributed next week.
