Lunch today is: Burritos, fresh veggies w/dip, sandwich, banana half, cookie.

There will be a quiz bowl meeting today during homeroom for all those interested in competing on Saturday at Algona Garrigan.  Please be prompt.

The following students need to report to Mr. Anderson’s room today 9^th hour: Erick Aldana, Zach Blocker, Brianna Johnson, Mikaela Larson, Mikayla Litzkow, Jason Rahe, Jeni Stevenson, Zach Van Reese.

Students will have Opt Out day today, if you are not on the Non Opt-Out list. You should have been notified during class this period or yesterday 8^th period if you cannot opt out.

Reminder--All Punt, Pass and Kick winners that placed 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd will be given trophies or medals during halftime at tonight’s football game.

Any high school student interested in participating in bowling this year, should attend an organizational meeting on Monday, October 17^th at 3:00 in the auditorium.

Congratulations to Jenna Schutter, Kendall Melz and Jacob Berkeland for being fans of the week last week!

All High School Students: Doctor’s notes and other appointment excusal notes are required when leaving school for such appointments. When you come back from your appointment, notes can be hand delivered to the office or faxed to the school.  Professional offices are accustomed to writing excusal notes for students, but you need to ask for them.  Absence for such appointments will be considered unexcused unless an excusal note is given to the Main Office.  Thanks for your cooperation.

FCCLA members- Please pay your $15 dues. Also please bring 1 pkg. of Blow Pops Suckers to the nest meeting- Oct. 24th. Officers should bring 1 box of Kleenex.

Lifetouch Picture Retake Day –today– starting with elementary at 8:30 a.m. with MS and HS to follow.  Students wanting a retake need to bring their picture packet with them and give to the photographer.  Any new students or any absent students from Sept. 6^th should have their picture taken that day.  Extra picture packets are available from the main office.

Happy birthday today, October 14^th, to Josh Berkeland. Tomorrow, October 15^th, is Asia Kokakis’ birthday. Josh and Asia, we hope you both have great birthdays!!
