DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

10/14/10 – Day A

Students and Staff:  This week is National School  Lunch Week.  Please take a moment when going through the lunch line to thank the cooks for all the good meals they make for us.  

Lunch today is:  Cheesy potatoes with ham, apple half, dinner roll, pudding.

The following students are excused to the UNI rep at 1:15 in the guidance office.

Students are reminded that the end of 1^st quarter is Friday, October 22^nd.  Students, please make sure you are getting work done and in on time!

Tonight is parent's night for the volleyball seniors.  The Freshman match will start at 5:30 p.m. with a JV and Varsity matches to follow.  There will only be one net used on this night.

Today – 11:45 Wayne State, Nebraska and 1:15 University of Northern Iowa – Sign up in the guidance office by Wednesday afternoon

There are just a few weeks left to earn points for the fall spirit award and only 54 spirit points separate the top two classes!  

We will be having a pep rally today in the Auditorium. 

We will offer a pep bus to Belmond this Friday. Cost is $5 and the bus will leave at 5:20 pm. There will be a pick up at Farm Bureau in Thompson at 5:30. This is once again open to Middle School, High School and parents. Sign up sheet is in the HS Media Center. Students need to be signed up by Wednesday, October 13th.

FCCLA members are reminded to bring a bag of Blow Pop suckers to the FCS room before the Oct. 25th meeting. 

Lifetouch picture retake day – has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 26^th starting at 8:30 a.m. – for those that were absent on August 30^th or would like a retake.  Please let the office know if you need your picture taken.  Those that are getting retakes need to return the pictures to the photographers that day.
