Lunch today is: Chicken nuggets, sandwich, cheesy vegetables, strawberry cup.
Thursday, October 14th is parent's night for the volleyball seniors. The Freshman match will start at 5:30 p.m. with a JV and Varsity matches to follow. There will only be one net used on this night.

Publication Productions Students: Remember to track your technology usage over the next 48 hours using the handout from class. You will get another handout today to help track tomorrow’s usage.
Class Meetings: We will have class meetings today during 9th hour study hall in the following locations:
Seniors: Auditorium
Juniors: Mr. Hemiller’s room
Sophomores: Mr. Fisher’s room
Freshmen: Mrs. Recker’s room
Student Council: We will have a brief meeting at 12:35 in Mrs. Recker’s room. Please be prompt!
We are seeing an increase in cell phone violations in the high school. Cell phones are not allowed in the classrooms and may be confiscated by your classroom teacher and then turned into the office. Cell phones are allowed during lunch/lobby time and in between classes, but not during class (unless specific permission has been granted by the teacher or the office). Please review the cell phone policy in your student handbook.

There are several lost and found items that can be found by the office.
Homecoming decorations need to be taken down and cleaned up this week – business windows cleaned, school windows cleaned, decorations taken down, etc. Make arrangements with your advisors to get this taken care of as soon as possible.
Congratulations to Derek Yegge for getting Caught Showing Character and Makayla Heetland & Haley Engelbarts as fans of the week during homecoming! Please report to the Media Center during your lunch hour for a picture.

There are just a few weeks left to earn points for the fall spirit award and only 54 spirit points separate the top two classes!
We will be having a pep rally at 3:15 pm on Thursday, October 14 in the Auditorium.
We will offer a pep bus to Belmond this Friday. Cost is $5 and the bus will leave at 5:20 pm. There will be a pick up at Farm Bureau in Thompson at 5:30. This is once again open to Middle School, High School and parents. Sign up sheet is in the HS Media Center. Students need to be signed up by Wednesday, October 13th.
FCCLA members are reminded to bring a bag of Blow Pop suckers to the FCS room before the Oct. 25th meeting.
Lifetouch picture retake day – has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 26th starting at 8:30 a.m. – for those that were absent on August 30th or would like a retake. Please let the office know if you need your picture taken. Those that are getting retakes need to return the pictures to the photographers that day.
