Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team for earning 1st place at the Lady Bison Volleyball Tournament this past Saturday!! Come cheer them on tonight as they take on WCLT at home. JV and Freshman, please be at the school by 5:15 ready to begin warming up. Varsity, please be at the school by 5:30.

K-12 Retake Picture Day is scheduled for tomorrow, Oct. 13^th.  Photographers will start out in Thompson at 8:30 and then go over to B.C.  This is for any staff members or students that were absent on August 31^st – or for anyone that wants a retake.  If it is for a retake, please have them bring their original packet with them that day. If you need a picture order form, there is one in the office.

There will be a BRIEF meeting for all those interested in participating in quiz bowl this year in Mr. Potter's room at 11:50 on Monday.

Please dismiss the cross country kids at 3:00 today.  Thank you.

Students taking the PSAT-NMSQT test this Wednesday should get $13 to Mr. Huntington to cover the fees.

Iowa Lakes CC will be here tomorrow, October 13^th.

ALL yearbook members MUST attend the meeting held for Tuesday October 13. Bring your notebook ideas! This is a mandatory meeting. If you can't attend, you must tell an editor by Monday at 3:30.

Swing Choir will rehearse on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:30 a.m. in the choir room. 

Anyone interested in Winter Cheerleading in High School or Middle School please contact Dy Quisling (quisling@northiowa.org) by Oct 15th.

The volleyball tournament at Rockwell October, 15th was put on the calendar by mistake. When R-S and SCMT combined, this tournament was dropped.

FCCLA members also should pay your $12 dues to Mrs. Larsen and bring in a bag of Tootsie Pops.

The FCCLA Oct. 19th meeting will be changed to Tues. Oct. 20th because of a conflict with the volleyball tournament game.

If you are a freshman or sophomore (boys and girls) and you are considering going out for basketball this year please e-mail Mr. Hinders (hinders@northiowa.org)by this Friday stating your level of interest. I need numbers to take to the next AD meeting concerning scheduling.

If anyone finds an iPOD, please turn it into the office.  Reward to who turns in the iPOD!  Thanks!

Students and Parents--Just a reminder concerning lunch and be sure to check your lunch balance online – if your account is negative you will need to pay cash for seconds or you are not allowed seconds.  Students and teachers are reminded to sign up for lunch if you plan to eat.  This helps the cooks know how much food to prepare to have enough for everyone.
