FFA meeting this evening, at 7:00 pm in the media center.

Swing Choir meets tomorrow, Friday, October 9 at 7:30 a.m. in the choir

The yearbook staff
will meet today during seminar in the multipurpose room.
Anyone who purchased
a 2009 yearbook can pick it up today during lunch in the gym lobby.

freshman or sophomore (boys and girls) and you are considering going out for
basketball this year please e-mail Mr. Hinders (hinders@northiowa.org)by this
Friday stating your level of interest. I
need numbers to take to the next AD meeting concerning scheduling.
FCCLA members please
fill out your labels for Pampered Chef Fundraiser cards and turn them into Mrs.
Larsen today!
FCCLA members are
reminded to pay your $12 dues as soon as possible and please bring a package of
Tootsie Pops to the October meeting. The
meeting has been changed to October 20th due to a conflict with volleyball.
All Juniors need to turn
in all sold & unsold After Prom tickets with their money by tomorrow (Friday)
morning to Vicki in the office. Each student is responsible for their numbered
tickets. Drawing
is at halftime Friday (tomorrow) evening at the football game.
We have
Volleyball, and our final Home Football Game this week. Let's get out there and
show off our blue and silver!
K-12 Retake Picture
Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13th. Photographers will
start out in Thompson at 8:30 and then go over to B.C. This is for any
staff members or students that were absent on August 31st – or for
anyone that wants a retake. If it is for a retake, please have them bring
their original packet with them that day.
Juniors—Today is
your last chance to draw a scratch ticket for your magazine sales. This
is for every 5 sales you can draw a card to receive cash. Please report
to the high school office to do this.
If anyone finds an iPOD, please turn it into the office. Reward to who turns in the iPOD! Thanks!

Swimming pool shirts can be picked up at the Drivers Choice Restaurant. Talk to Jim or Sue. Cost is $11 each.
There is a sign-up
sheet outside Mr. Potter’s room for anyone interested in Quiz Bowl this
year. Our first competition is October 17th, so be sure to
sign up this week!
Students and Parents--Just a reminder concerning lunch and be sure to check your lunch balance online – if your account is negative you will need to pay cash for seconds or you are not allowed seconds. Students and teachers are reminded to sign up for lunch if you plan to eat. This helps the cooks know how much food to prepare to have enough for everyone.
