Seniors who have
turned in their pink Senior Open Campus Privilege forms may use their open
campus privilege starting today. You are not allowed to leave the school
campus unless this form is turned in.
All Homecoming
decorations need to be taken down sometime this week. Each decorating
committee from each class needs to make arrangements with their class their
class sponsor or supervisor to clean up.
Homecoming Week was
an awesome spirited week! The final tallies are in for coveted spirit
points: Seniors – 1st place with 650 points; Juniors – 2nd
place with 600 points; Sophomores – 3rd place with 400 points;
Freshmen – 4th place with 300 points.
There is a sign-up
sheet outside Mr. Potter’s room for anyone interested in Quiz Bowl this
year. Our first competition is October 17th so be sure to sign up this week!

Seniors apply to
the Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship. The deadline is Thursday, October
1st. If at least 5 students from our school apply, we will be

Juniors—Students are need to sign up to ride
the cruzin cooler and sell tickets in the stands each
Friday night at home ballgames. Let
Juniors—Please turn in all After Prom raffle money and tickets to Vicki in the office. Please do this daily, so money is not lying around and can be deposited. Please sign up to work at volleyball and football games to sell tickets and we also need riders. Please remember this is for you to have a great After Prom.
Students and Parents--Just a reminder concerning lunch and be sure to check your lunch balance online – if your account is negative you will need to pay cash for seconds or you are not allowed seconds. Students and teachers are reminded to sign up for lunch if you plan to eat. This helps the cooks know how much food to prepare to have enough for everyone.
Students: The office needs the Race/Ethnicity sheets returned
to the office a.s.a.p. These were given
to you for your parents to fill out and need to be returned by each individual
in the school. The report must be turned
in to the state department by October 1st.
K-12 Retake Picture
Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13th. Photographers will
start out in Thompson at 8:30 and then go over to B.C. This is for any
staff members or students that were absent on August 31st – or for
anyone that wants a retake. If it is for a retake, please have them bring
their original packet with them that day.
Junior and Senior female students interested in a career
related to Math and Science need to talk to Mr. Hemiller about attending a
conference at
Mr. Hemiller will be collecting can tabs now through October for an organization that will donate them to the Ronald McDonald house. Please bring can tabs to his room.
Little Bison Childcare Center is looking for a high school student to work after school and on no-school days. Have to be 16 years old. Stop down at the daycare for an application.
