DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
9/27/2007
General
Classes are shortened for early
dismissal. Lunch is the same as regular
lunch schedule days. The only thing
changed is shortened class times.
Do not keep valuables in your academic
lockers or athletic lockers. If you have anything of value, it is always
a good idea to leave it at home, give it to a teacher of the office for safe
keeping, or use a padlock to lock your lockers. There is little the
school can do if an item of yours is stolen from your locker if it is not
locked. Please contact the HS office or Mr. Embrock if you need/want a
padlock.
With 5 minutes in between classes, students
should have plenty of time to go to the restroom, go to their locker, get
drinks of water, etc. You should not need to leave your classroom soon
after arriving to your class. There should be little to no traffic in the
hallways. If you do need to go somewhere, you must have your passport or
a pass from a teacher. Thanks for your cooperation.

allowed in the classrooms.

Attendance is vitally important to your
learning and success in your academics. It is difficult for teachers to
give you instruction and help you when you are not present. According to
the student handbook, students can miss only 5 days of each class per
semester. You need to be fully aware of this and avoid missing
class. Keep in mind that your future employers will be asking about your
attendance at school. If you absolutely need to be absent from
class/school, please bring in a note or have your parent/guardian contact the
HS office. If you have any questions about the attendance policy, refer
to your student handbook or talk to Mr. Embrock.
You are welcome to play with the
basketballs and volleyballs in the gym during lunch as long as you put all of
the balls away at the end of the period. Thank you.
