Lunch today is:  Pulled pork/bun, cheesy broccoli, apple slices.

 

The following students need to see Mrs. Mayland to set up a time to make up their map test they missed:  Taylor Carpentier, Maria Mayland, Jessica Adams, Ryan Almelien, Alex Sunde, Alyssa Swearingen, Jamie Goetz and Jozie Flynn.

 

Congratulations to Troy Kettwick (HS), Natalie Sachs (MS) and Jackson Berte (ELEM) for being chosen as fans of the week!

 

There will be 10 pairs of SPIRIT SLEEVES available Friday afternoon before the pep rally. If you are interested in a pair, see DY before then! COST is $10/pair and they are adult/16 inch size.

 

Friday morning there will be week 1-5 trading cards for sale. Cards will be first come, first serve and are $1 each. There is NO RESERVING or HOLDING cards and quantities are LIMITED. Only week 5 players (Jason, Troy, Ryan and Austin) will be signing autographs. See Dy Friday mornging to purchase yours by the concession stand!

 

Freshman/JV Triangular at Armstrong tonight. Bus will leave 5:50 from Buffalo Center and 6:00 from Lakota. We play at 7:15pm and 8:30pm. Games will be earlier if things run ahead of schedule. Freshman will play in the Middle School gym and JV in the High School gym. Varsity (those not going to Armstrong) will practice right after school.

 

Workers for tonight’s JV football game are Dalton Berte, Katelin Frerichs, Kelsey Griffin, Jon Wubben.  Please report at 5:45 p.m.

FFA members please get your FFA dues paid by Oct 1st.  Dues are $20.

 

FCCLA members should pay your dues of $15 by October 1.  Checks  should be made out to the school.  Give checks to Mrs. Larsen or Haley Engelbarts, treasurer.

 

Punt, Pass & Kick Competition will be held on Friday, Sept. 30th, after the Homecoming Parade.  This is open to ages 7 – 14 years.   Permission forms have gone home with elementary students.  Middle school students can get forms from Mr. Hinders or Mrs. Steffensen.  Bring signed permission form to the field that day.

 

The bulletin board in the lobby with all the pictures on it is NOT for you to take pictures off of. A lot of time is spent on taking the pictures and putting that board together. PLEASE be respectful and look, but don't touch.

 

Homecoming Dance: Any out of town dates must be signed up in the Main Office no later than 3:30pm Thursday, Sept. 29th. The Homecoming Dance is for high school students only, no middle school students will be allowed to attend.

 

Homecoming Dance: There are song suggestion sheets in your homerooms. If you have suggestions for songs that you’d like to hear played at the dance, be sure to get it written on the song suggestion sheet! The DJ cannot guarantee that all songs requested will be played, but they will certainly try! Suggestions will be taken through Tuesday, Sept. 27th.

 

Homecoming Week Dress Up Days:

Monday- “Crayon Day” (Dress head to toe in your favorite color!)

Tuesday- “Twin Day”

Wednesday- “Western Day”

Thursday- “Camouflage Day”

Friday- “Spirit Day”

 

Students need to turn in a Parental Permission slip signed by your parent to have Open Campus if your parents attended Open House on Aug. 23 or 24th..  Juniors will have Open Campus this week, September 26-30 (Homecoming week).  A list of students eligible for open campus during the designated weeks has been given to the Homeroom advisors.  If you are unsure of this privilege, please see your homeroom teacher today.

 

H.S. students—If you have Open Campus, please do not bring items back to the classrooms to eat.  Seniors need to eat in the Commons or somewhere outside of school. 

 

Students are reminded when leaving their classrooms they are required to sign out and back in in that classroom.  Each classroom teacher will have a checkout sheet provided for you to sign out and in.
