Lunch today is:  Sub sandwich, baked beans, baby carrots, applesauce.

 

The following students need to report to the MS Media Center this morning.  Check in with your first hour class then report to the MS Media Center for make up Map Testing

Today at 12:13 pm there will be a working lunch for students wanting to assist with the blood drive.  Students are asked to pick up their lunch in the commons and report to Mrs. Aukes office.

 

The last football apparel is in, please stop by Mr. Anderson’s room and pick up your order this week.

 

Homecoming Dance: Any out of town dates must be signed up in the Main Office no later than 3:30pm Thursday, Sept. 29th. The Homecoming Dance is for high school students only, no middle school students will be allowed to attend.

 

Homecoming Dance: There are song suggestion sheets in your homerooms. If you have suggestions for songs that you’d like to hear played at the dance, be sure to get it written on the song suggestion sheet! The DJ cannot guarantee that all songs requested will be played, but they will certainly try! Suggestions will be taken through Tuesday, Sept. 27th.

 

Homecoming Week Dress Up Days:

Monday- “Crayon Day” (Dress head to toe in your favorite color!)

Tuesday- “Twin Day”

Wednesday- “Western Day”

Thursday- “Camouflage Day”

Friday- “Spirit Day”

 

Homecoming Decorating Committee Supply Request Lists: All supply request lists need to be turned into Mrs. Recker no later than 8am Friday, Sept. 23rd! Requests not received by then may not be fulfilled and it will become your responsibility to get supplies!

 

Reminder to English 10 Students: Be sure to have your independent reading book or free-read book with you in class today! ~Mrs. Recker

 

There is early dismissal today.  Early dismissal schedule is as follows:

·        Period 1 – 8:25-8:55                 

·        Period 2 – 9:01-9:30

·        Period 3 – 9:33-10:02

·        Period 4 – 10:05-10:34

·        Period 5 – 10:37-11:06

·        Period 6 – 11:09-11:38

·        Period 7 – 11:41-12:10

·        Lunch          --    12:13-12:43

·        Period 8 – 12:46-1:30

 

Wartburg College will be here on Thursday at 11:45 in the guidance office.

 

Class meetings will be held again tomorrow during homeroom.

 

There will be a QUIZ BOWL organizational meeting on Friday during homeroom in Mr. Potter room for all those interesting in participating this year.  Not sure what quiz bowl is all about??  Come find out on Friday.  There will be a sign-up outside Mr. Potter’s room throughout the week.

 

There will be a pep bus to Britt on Friday. Cost to ride is $5. Sign up by noon on Thursday. Bus will leave BC at 5:30 pm.

 

FFA members please get your FFA dues paid by Oct 1st.  Dues are $20.

 

The Athletic Yard Sign order forms and money are due TODAY.

 

Students need to turn in a Parental Permission slip signed by your parent to have Open Campus if your parents attended Open House on Aug. 23 or 24th..  Juniors will have Open Campus next week, September 24-28 (Homecoming week).  A list of students eligible for open campus during the designated weeks has been given to the Homeroom advisors.  If you are unsure of this privilege, please see your homeroom teacher today.

 

H.S. students—If you have Open Campus, please do not bring items back to the classrooms to eat.  Seniors need to eat in the Commons or somewhere outside of school. 

 

Students are reminded when leaving their classrooms they are required to sign out and back in in that classroom.  Each classroom teacher will have a checkout sheet provided for you to sign out and in.
