There will be a QUIZ BOWL
organizational meeting on Friday during homeroom in Mr. Potter room for all
those interesting in participating this year. Not sure what quiz bowl is
all about?? Come find out on
Friday. There will be a sign-up outside Mr.
Potter’s room throughout the week.
There
will be a pep bus to Britt on Friday. Cost to ride is $5. Sign up by noon on
Thursday. Bus will leave BC at 5:30 pm.

Results from the Clay Co Fair
livestock judging contest on Saturday are as follows: The team of Justin M. Jenna K. and Troy K.
placed 6th out of 37 teams and the team of Mark M. JT Roe and Caleb
R. placed 16th out of 37 teams. Justin M. was also our high
individual and placed 5th out of 140 contestants.
Results from the National
Barrow Show judging contest last Monday are as follows: the team of Morgan K. Maranda E. Dylan V. and Nick K. placed 9th out
of 44 teams and the team of Jenna K. Carly M. and Megan M placed 23rd
out of 44 teams. High individuals were Jenna K. who placed 7th
out of 186 contestants and Morgan K. who placed 15th out 186 contestants.
FFA members please get your
FFA dues paid by Oct 1st. Dues are $20.
Any
high school girl planning on going out for basketball needs to pick up an
information sheet today in the office regarding shooting opportunities.
The Athletic
Yard Sign order forms and money are due tomorrow, (Wednesday) September 21st.
Students need to turn in a
Parental Permission slip signed by your parent to have Open Campus if your
parents attended Open House on Aug. 23 or 24th..
Juniors will
have Open Campus next week, September 24-28 (Homecoming week). A
list of students eligible for open campus during the designated weeks has been
given to the Homeroom advisors. If you
are unsure of this privilege, please see your homeroom teacher today.
H.S. students—If you have Open Campus, please do not bring items back to
the classrooms to eat. Seniors need to eat in the Commons or somewhere
outside of school.
Students
are reminded when leaving their classrooms they are required to sign out and
back in in that classroom. Each
classroom teacher will have a checkout sheet provided for you to sign out and
in.
