Congratulations to Blake Huntington. He was drawn out of last weeks character nominations. Blake, Anna Skarpol-Ost and Gabe Quisling need to report to the media center after 12:30 today to get their pictures taken. Anna and Gabe were chosen as fans of the week based on their outstanding display of school spirit during Mix Up the Maverick Week. This week is ICE THE EAGLES week! Thursday's dress day is winter gear!)

 

There is a sign-up sheet outside Mr. Potter’s room for anyone interested in participating in quiz bowl this year. Don’t know what quiz bowl is? Well, be sure to ask Mr. Potter or attend our organizational meeting we’ll be having later this week.

 

All work study students need to report to Mr. Huntington prior to leaving at 1:30 on Monday.

Wartburg College – Today – September 20 at 12:00 in guidance office

U.S. Marines – Wednesday, September 22 during lunch time in the Lobby Area.

JV football players need to be in the locker room by 4:30 tonight.  Bus leaves for Northwood at 4:50.

There will be a yearbook meeting Wednesday, September 22 at 3:00 in the multipurpose room.  All members should attend this informational meeting.

 

1st Quarter Midterm is this week.  Grades will be posted Thursday, September 23.  Make sure you are getting all your work turned in on time.

 

FCCLA will met on Thursday night, Sept. 23rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the FCS room.  Please bring your $15 dues as soon as possible.  Maranda Eichenberger and Haley Engelbarts have refreshments.

 

 

 

 

High School students:  If you park on the east side of the Methodist Church, which is located south across the street from the school, it is requested that you NOT PARK there ON WEDNESDAYS throughout the school year.  They have Bible Study each Wednesday.

 

Attention Juniors:  Make sure you are attempting to sell magazine subscriptions, the deadline is approaching fast.   If you did not receive a magazine packet, please pick one up today from the office.  The sales campaign runs through September 30th.  Remember this is your fundraiser for Prom.

 

Looking for some silver cord volunteer hours?  Bethany Lutheran Church in Thompson needs some shrubs/bushes trimmed – see Carolyn Flo in the kitchen for more information.

 

Reminder to ALL new FFA members please stop by to see Mr. Meyer so we can get you measured for your FFA Jacket.  FFA Dues are $16 and MUST be paid by Oct 1st.
