Midterm for the 1st Quarter is this Friday (September 18).  Students need to be working with their teachers in getting assignments turned in and work made up.  Study Tables can be an excellent way to get help from teachers and get some of your work done.

We will have a pep rally on Thursday, September 17 in the HS gym at 3:15 pm.  Each afternoon class will be shortened by 10 minutes.

9th and 10th graders will report to the HS Auditorium to view/listen to President Obama’s educational address to American students on Thursday during seminar.  Each 9th and 10th graders should have received a gold letter to bring home to their parents.  Please bring this letter home.

Any student who has missed a class more than 3 times needs to meet with Mr. Embrock to discuss their attendance.

Any student who receives a detention must serve the time within 48 hours of the infraction or communication from Mr. Embrock about the detention.  Failure to do so will result in doubling the detention time and/or result in in-school suspension.

Public displays of affection are not appropriate at school and are not allowed.  Snuggling, smooching, holding hands, sitting on laps, etc. are not acceptable at school.

We will have a shortened schedule on Tuesday, September 22 to decorate for Homecoming.  All students will be dismissed from class at 1:30 pm and report to their class sponsors to decorate.

On Tuesday, September 22 (Homecoming decorating day), any student who has an overdue assignment or work that need to be made up will report to Mr. Zenk’s room for study hall rather than decorate for Homecoming.

Get out there and Sell Today!

Students and Parents--Just a reminder concerning lunch and be sure to check your lunch balance online – if your account is negative you will need to pay cash for seconds or you are not allowed seconds.  Students and teachers are reminded to sign up for lunch if you plan to eat.  This helps the cooks know how much food to prepare to have enough for everyone.

Juniors—Please turn in all raffle money and tickets to Vicki in the office.  Please do this daily, so money is not lying around and can be deposited.  Please sign up to work at volleyball and football games to sell tickets and we also need riders.  Please remember this is for your to have a great After Prom.
