All sophomores should report to the multi-purpose room today for the math computation test.  Bring something to write with.  Scratch paper will be provided, no calculators are allowed.  Attendance will be taken there.  This test is required by the state, so come ready to put in your best effort.

 

Juniors and seniors in Mr. De Boer’s seminar should report to Mr. Hemiller today, freshmen to Mr. Potter, sophomores from Mr. De Boer’s seminar will report to Mr. Potter after the computation test.

 

Please dismiss the cross country team today at 2:45.  Thank you.

 

The bus for tonight's volleyball game at Belmond will leave at 4:00 p.m.

 

There will be a yearbook staff meeting tomorrow during seminar in the multipurpose room.

 

FFA dues are $11.00 please pay Mr. Meyer as soon as you can.  This includes all current FFA members and any new members that want to join.  Questions see Mr. Meyer.

 

If there are any FFA members who are interested in livestock judging at the Clay Co. Fair or district soils judging please see Mr. Meyer ASAP.

 

Attention High School Students: The Writing & Technology class has brainstormed some great possibilities for the name of our school newsletter, and they would like your help in choosing it. Please click on the link on the high school webpage entitled: Help Name the School Newsletter! to complete the survey and choose from one of five possible names. The cooks are requesting that all gum needs to be disposed of in the garbage and not left on the trays at lunch.  Thanks you.

 

There has been an excess of garbage (wrappers, pop bottles, etc.) in the west parking lot.  Please make sure you are doing your part in keeping this area clean and free of garbage.  Sometimes the garbage carries into the property of neighbors of the school.  We want to prevent this from happening and be courteous to our neighbors.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

 

Students are not allowed to bring food and/or beverages sold outside of the school building to home athletic activities where a concession stand is being provided.  If you must eat or drink something from another venue, please do so at that establishment or outside of the school building.  Thank you.

 

Junior class—You may still turn in to the high school office completed postcard booklet(s) and receive a free prize.  Today is the last day to turn in the postcard booklets.

 

Juniors—Ask extended family and friends if they are interested in ordering from QSP, then explain that this fundraiser is for prom.   There is a list in the office of people who bought magazine subscriptions last year.  Remember the sales will end on Friday, September 18th, so go out and sell whenever you have a chance!

 

Juniors—Please turn in all raffle money and tickets to Vicki in the office.  Please do this daily, so money is not lying around and can be deposited.  Please sign up to work at volleyball and football games to sell tickets and we also need riders.  Please remember this is for you to have a great After Prom.

 

Little Bison Childcare Center is looking for a high school student to work after school and on no-school days.  Have to be 16 years old. Stop down at the daycare for an application.

 

Happy BELATED birthdays yesterday, September 7th, to Cameron Timm and Collin Blackstad.  Hope you both had great birthdays!!
