DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
8/24/10-B Day
Lunch today is chicken fajita, corn, orange slices.
After discussion with your Student Council on concerns with the order of lunch, Seniors will be first in the lunch line this week and the following weeks. Juniors will eat 2nd, Sophomores 3rd, and Freshmen 4th. Starting next week, order in the lunch line will be determined by Spirit points.
FFA officers please meet with Mr. Meyer during study hall on Wednesday, Aug 25th in his room.
HS students need to avoid using the 2nd floor of the MS wing (by the MS lockers – Multi-purpose room area). This is where the 6th and 7th grade lockers are and could cause congestion in the halls. This would affect Band, Chorus, and Health/PE students the most. These students should go through the Commons and lobby to get to these classes. Also, please try not using the west hallway on the 3rd floor of the 1922 building unless absolutely necessary. This area does not have as much congestion but is still the location of 8th grade lockers. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
The weight room will be open for student use after school on days Mr. Bergeson is available to supervise.
Football managers see Mr. Anderson today.
Study Tables will start this week on today, Wednesday, and Thursday in the HS Media Center.
HS students need to remember to have their planners/passports with them when leaving a classroom and/or being in the hallway.
Picture Day is Monday, August 30. All students should be photographed, but you are not obligated to buy pictures. We will need everyone’s picture for the yearbook. If you do not have a picture form, please stop by the office and pick one up.
FFA meeting Thursday Aug 26th, 7:30pm in the high school media center. All current FFA members and perspective FFA members should attend. Questions, see Mr. Meyer.
Cell phones are not allowed in the classrooms. They can cause a disturbance to the classroom environment.
Tonight there will be a parent's night for CC @ 5:30, Volleyball @ 6:00, and Football @ 6:30. The meetings will be held in the Commons. The cross country squad will also be hosting a potluck after the meeting in the multi-purpose room for all CC team members and their families.
The FCCLA will have their first meeting on Thursday, Aug. 26th at 7 p.m. If you want to join and cannot attend, please e-mail or tell Mrs. Larsen. Mrs. Larsen will provide root beer floats for refreshments. If you are also going to attend the FFA meeting at 7:30, please come early between 6:30 to 7 to get your float, so that you can get to the FFA meeting on time.
