students in second hour today with last name beginning A through H will report
to P.E. Last name beginning J through Z
will report to study center. The next A
day students with last name beginning J through Z will have P.E. Students with last name beginning A through H
will report to study center.
Seniors,
please remember the senior breakfast is tomorrow. Serving will begin at
7:45 a.m. in the Consumer Science room.
With
the elementary students starting today, please be extra careful during
lunch. You are welcome to be in the gym during lunch time as long as 1)
your shoes are not dirty, muddy, have rocks in them, etc., 2) you are not
getting too rough or wild, 3) put all balls away when done with lunch/recess,
4) you are respectful of others and maintain a positive environment. (run
all of this week and next week)
During
lunch, students must remain in lunch room/commons area or be in the HS gym
lobby or HS gym. You are not allowed to go through the south doors of the
commons, unless you have special permission from Mr. Embrock or a
teacher. Thank you for your cooperation. (run all of this week and
next week)
There
will be a meeting for anyone who would like to participate in the fall
play (cast and all crews) during first seminar in the Multi-purpose room
on Friday.
Students/adults—Anyone
wishing a second sandwich, entrée, slice of pizza, milk, etc. are charged for
seconds.
Student’s
who need to ride activity shuttle bus after extracurricular activities each
evening, should sign up in the high school office each day before 3rd period. You are required to sign up if you want to
ride. After 3rd period begins
is too late to sign up, so please get into the habit of doing this each morning
that you need to ride.
There

will be a practice for flag corps during second seminar today. Meet at Mr. Cook’s office.
Student
Council petitions may be picked up in the HS office. Petitions are due by
3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 29th. Talk to Mr. Embrock if you have any
questions.
Students:
your bookbags need to be stored in your lockers
during the school day. They cannot be left on the floor of classrooms or
hallways – they are considered a fire hazard.
Anyone
interested in being a member of the North Iowa Pep Squad please sign up in the
media center today and tomorrow. This is a group that will help cheer for
the football team at home and away games. You would be helping the
cheerleaders while supporting your team
at the same time. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Anderson at
andersonarin@northiowa.org.
Any
baseball player who has a uniform yet, please give them to Rena in the front
