5/19/11-Day B
Today’s lunch is: Sub sandwich, chips, carrots, apple, graduation cake.
Students planning on
attending the Iowa State Track meet----You should have gotten your makeup slip
yesterday and you need to get all teachers signatures before being excused.
The first event starts at 2:00 pm, so students should be able to attend class
until 10:00 am. Also, each student must report to Mr. Hemiller when
arriving to Drake Stadium.
Juniors can begin working on next year’s class
schedule with either Mr. Huntington or Mr. Embrock today.
Junior student council members,
meet with Mr. Embrock at 12:40 in the FCS room.
Seniors last official day is
today. If you have not picked up reserve
graduation tickets, do so today.
There will be a working
lunch meeting for Yearbook staff on Monday, May 23 in the ICN room.
See Mr. Hinders if you did not
get your letters or pins Tuesday night.
There will be an informational
meeting next on Tuesday, May 24th, in the HS Auditorium during 9th
period for those that plan on participating in HS football next fall. This will
include current 8th grade students.
Students are reminded to
dress appropriately for school. Even though the weather is getting
warmer, clothing should not overly revealing – too
tight, too short, etc. If you have any questions about appropriate dress,
please ask your teachers or the office.
The following FFA members owe
$50 for their FFA jacket: Dylan Voortmann, Brandi Swenson, Tate
Corporon.
Anyone interested in FOOTBALL
or COMPETITION CHEER for next year needs to have tryout forms turned in by tomorrow
(Friday) to Dy.
The following people owe fines:

Mike Limon, Shanandoah Hamsmith. The items will need to be paid for before I will

Haley Williams please turn in
TOWEL MONEY. Chelsey Adams, Haley Williams, Jessica
Adams, Kelsey Griffin, Caitlin Sahr and McKhayla Paul need to turn in cheer camp balances ASAP to
the business office. Check your email for your balance due.
Varsity
softball practice for those in golf/track report to practice after your golf or
track practice. Also for
anyone who can make it, hitting practice will be on Tuesday and Friday mornings
from 7:00 to 7:45 at the softball field.
Those students who haven’t
turned in their pre-registrations sheets will not be able to opt out of 9th
periods until they are turned in.
Please check your lunch
account balance! If your family account is negative $10.00 or more you
will need to bring $2.25 to eat lunch or please bring a sack lunch. ---Sheryl

books that have not been turned in from the musical. Please turn in to the
business office today!

visit to an Iowa Private College during Private College Week, August 1-5, 2011,
can receive a free music download. Go to www.thinkindependently.com for

music download card.

by attending the free four day Youth
Entrepreneurial Academy (YEA). It is from Sunday, June 19 – Thursday,
June 23rd. You stay at the dorms during the week and all
expenses are paid. Complete applications as soon as possible which are
available in my office
