Today’s lunch is: Shrimp poppers, whipped potatoes, sandwich, watermelon.
Today will be makeup MAP testing.
We still need a few senior photos---Please bring
them in to Holly Arnevik for the yearbook.
You can also email them to arnevik@northiowa.org. You can submit
two different poses.
Students are reminded to
dress appropriately for school. Even though the weather is getting
warmer, clothing should not overly revealing – too
tight, too short, etc. If you have any questions about appropriate dress,
please ask your teachers or the office.
Book check out from all media
centers will end today. Students need to return ALL checked out materials
to the correct media center by Wednesday, May 18th. Thanks for
your help!
There will be a brief
National Honor Society meeting during 9th hour today. Please
be prompt.
Quiz Bowl team, Golf
JV/Varsity team, Individual Speech, Yearbook Staff photos will be taken next Tuesday
at 12:30. Meet by the elementary media center. Golf team bring your shirts and wear them for the photo.

FFA members planning to show
livestock at the Winnebago Co Fair your ID sheets are due to Mr. Meyer today.
The Girls District
meet will be Monday in Lake Mills .The suburban will be on the east
side of school please be there 7:45 and ready to go.
The
FCCLA Duct Tape event is coming up on Tuesday during 9th hour. If you would like to buy duct tape today,
please stop in the FCS rooom during 9th hour. Mr. Embrock and Mr. Hemiller are currently in
the lead, so let's remember to purchase tape for Mr. Meyer and Mrs.
Recker! Tape is $1 per yard, and today,
a special begins. You'll get a 6th yard
free if you purchase 5 yards or have purchased 5 yards already!!
Anyone interested in FOOTBALL
or COMPETITION CHEER for next year needs to have tryout forms turned in by next
Friday (May 20th) to Dy.

Haley Williams please turn in
TOWEL MONEY. Chelsey Adams, Haley Williams, Jessica
Adams, Kelsey Griffin, Caitlin Sahr and McKhayla Paul need to turn in cheer camp balances ASAP to
the business office. Check your email for your balance due.
Varsity
softball practice for those in golf/track report to practice after your golf or
track practice. Also for
anyone who can make it, hitting practice will be on Tuesday and Friday mornings
from 7:00 to 7:45 at the softball field.
Those students who haven’t
turned in their pre-registrations sheets will not be able to opt out of 9th
periods until they are turned in.
Attention students 8th
grade through 11th grade:
The high school student council is accepting applications for the 2011-2012
school year. If you are interested in representing
your class by serving as a student council member, please pick up an
application in the high school/middle school office, complete it, and return it
to the office by Friday, May 13th. Please read the
application carefully, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a
current student council member or Mrs. Recker!
Please check your lunch
account balance! If your family account is negative $10.00 or more you
will need to bring $2.25 to eat lunch or please bring a sack lunch. ---Sheryl

A sign-up sheet is available
in the high school office for anyone interested in taking Lifeguard
Training. You MUST be 15 years old at the start of the class to
participate. The class will start at 9:00 on Saturday, May 28 with a
pre-requisite swim and introduction of materials. It will resume on
Tuesday, May 31st and run through Saturday, June 4th.
Class times will run from 9:00-12:00. The cost is $75. Please sign
up by Wednesday, May 4th so the correct number of books can be ordered.
Anyone interested in Lifeguard RE-CERTIFICATION is also encouraged to
sign up in the office. Contact Kim Ostermann if you have any questions.
There are still four vocal
books that have not been turned in from the musical. Please turn in to the
business office today!

visit to an Iowa Private College during Private College Week, August 1-5, 2011,
can receive a free music download. Go to www.thinkindependently.com for
information. See Mr. Huntington or Holly Arnevik for your
music download card.

by attending the free four day Youth
Entrepreneurial Academy (YEA). It is from Sunday, June 19 – Thursday,
June 23rd. You stay at the dorms during the week and all
