Today’s lunch is:  Popcorn chicken, French fries, sandwich, strawberries.

 

A big congratulations goes out to the boys 4x800 Relay Team who placed 4th at State Track Thursday.  The group consists of Derek Yegge, Reese Nelson, Jordan Anderson and Logan Hovland.  Congratulations to Brandy Newton who place 6th in the Shot Put at the State Track meet. Also congratulations to Logan Hovland who finished 3rd place in the mile. Congratulations for a very successful year.

 

Congratulations to Eric Krull for moving onto the Iowa State 1A Golf Tournament.  Eric earned 2nd place finish in regions.

 

Juniors can begin working on next year’s class schedule with either Mr. Huntington or Mr. Embrock today.

 

There will be a working lunch meeting for Yearbook staff on Monday, May 23 in the ICN room. 

 

High school students can pick up check out sheets from the counter in the HS office. 

 

The summer informational volleyball meeting will be held Tuesday afternoon 9th period in Mrs. Judge’s 5th grade classroom.  This is for students that will be in high school next year.

 

Any students wanting to register for NIACC Virtual Academy Courses next fall need to meet in the ICN room at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  See Mr. Embrock or Mr. Huntington if you have questions.

 

Varsity softball girls are dismissed at 3:10 today.  You are to first report to your 9th hr. teacher for attendance and then you will be dismissed.

 

There will be a meeting today during 9th hour in Mr. Potter’s room for all high school students interested in running cross country next fall.  Please be prompt.

 

National Honor Society students – remember, we are cleaning ditches this afternoon.  We will meet in Mrs. Peake’s room at 3:30 – please be prompt.

 

All Juniors will be dismissed from class at 12:05 today and need to report to the Auditorium.  It is regards to open campus for lunch.

 

Checkout sheets are available in the office starting today.  Students need to have the following sign their checkout sheets before Mr. Embrock does final checkout on Wednesday:  All teachers (1st & 2nd semester), Mrs. Davids (lunch account), Mrs. Anderson or Mrs. Hippen (HS Media Center materials), Mr. Hinders (activities equipment), Mr. Huntington (next year’s schedule), and 9th period teacher/advisor (locker checkout).

 

Whoever purchased the white #16 football jersey please see Mr. Huntington a.s.a.p.

 

If you ordered track pictures from Patty Jo Sanderson, please stop by the HS office by Wednesday to pick them up.

 

The student body (grades 9-11) will be voting for Student Body President today during 9th hour study hall.

 

See Mr. Hinders if you did not get your letters or pins Tuesday night.

 

There will be an informational meeting tomorrow, May 24th, in the HS Auditorium during 9th period for those that plan on participating in HS football next fall. This will include current 8th grade students.

 

The following FFA members owe $50 for their FFA jacket:  Dylan Voortmann, Brandi Swenson, Tate Corporon.

 

Kelsey Ufford needs to pay for a fine in the business office. Please see Sheryl Davids. The item will need to be paid for before I will be able to sign your check out sheet at the end of the year.

 

Haley Williams please turn in TOWEL MONEY. Chelsey Adams, Haley Williams, Jessica Adams, Kelsey Griffin, Caitlin Sahr and McKhayla Paul need to turn in cheer camp balances ASAP to the business office. Check your email for your balance due.

 

Varsity softball practice for those in golf/track report to practice after your golf or track practice.  Also for anyone who can make it, hitting practice will be on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7:00 to 7:45 at the softball field. 

 

Those students who haven’t turned in their pre-registrations sheets will not be able to opt out of 9th periods until they are turned in.

 

Please check your lunch account balance!  If your family account is negative $10.00 or more you will need to bring $2.25 to eat lunch or please bring a sack lunch. ---Sheryl Davids

 

There are still four vocal books that have not been turned in from the musical. Please turn in to the business office today!
