DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

General

Congratulations to the boys and girls golf teams for their performance yesterday at the North Iowa Conference Meets.  Special congratulations to the girls team for finishing 4th and to Meaghan Schmidt and Lauren Giesking for earning All Conference medals.

Thanks to so many people doing a great job, we put on an excellent track meet for all the schools in the conference. Lots of close races and close team scores made it very exciting. It is great working with so many people willing to put in time so we can host a meet like this for our student athletes.  THANKS AGAIN!

Please dismiss the girls track team at 3:05 today.  Thank you.

Juniors will be going to NIACC on Wednesday, May 7th for the annual College and Career Day.  We will leave the BC building at 7:35 and pick up in Thompson at 7:50 at Hometown Market.   If you miss the bus you are expected to report to school for the day.  Please bring a pen to use for the day.  We will stop in Clear Lake to eat afterwards and return to BC for 4th period.

You may sign up for the drivers education summer classes at this time in the secretaries office. The summer class will start on May 29th and run through June 23rd. Half of the $175.00 class fee is due at the time of sign up.

Sign up before May 16th.

Prom order forms available in the office. Please pick up. Form must be filled out and payment received for photos Saturday night.

Juniors will have a class meeting today at 12:15.  This meeting is with the Herff Jones rep concerning graduation announcements for next year.

The elementary track meet will be Tuesday, May 13 beginning at 12:40.  If you would like to help, please see or email Mrs. Vander Wilt.  Thanks.

Water fountain spouts are not meant to be touched or twisted so water runs onto the floor.  This is unsanitary and inappropriate and will not be tolerated.  If it continues, water fountains will be turned off.

Softball practice begins today for all that can make it at 5:30 at softball field.

There will be a change in the lunch and seminar schedule again on Thursday, May 8.  The freshmen and sophomores will eat first lunch and go to second seminar.  The juniors and seniors will go to seminar first and eat second lunch.  Students who are in choir will report to the stage for a final rehearsal for our concert that evening.  Teachers, please consult the list of students in choir that Mrs. Kettwick distributed last week.  If you have misplaced yours, please let me know.  I will give you another one.
