General

Juniors will be going to NIACC on Wednesday, May 7th for the annual College and Career Day.  We will leave the BC building at 7:35 and pick up in Thompson at 7:50 at Hometown Market.   If you miss the bus you are expected to report to school for the day.  Please bring a pen to use for the day.  We will stop in Clear Lake to eat afterwards and return to BC for 4th period. 

 

You may sign up for the drivers education summer classes at this time in the secretaries office. The summer class will start on May 29th and run through June 23rd. Half of the $175.00 class fee is due at the time of sign up.

Sign up before May 16th.

 

Only North Iowa Conference passes will be accepted at the track meet today. This is a North Iowa Conference rule.

 

Attention all track athletes; the meet starts tonight at 4:00 pm for field events and 4:30 for running events.  Please dismiss boys and girls' track squads for a brief meeting in the locker room areas at 3:00 pm.

 

Jazz Band will rehearse during 2nd seminar on Monday.

 

Juniors will have a class meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 12:15.  This meeting is with the Herff Jones rep concerning graduation announcements for next year.

 

Student Council will have a meeting today at 11:45 am.  All student council members should eat 1st lunch and then meet in the Multi-purpose room.

 

If you have not done this----Seniors can pick up caps, gowns, and stoles today during lunch and/or Seminar in the HS office.

 

Water fountain spouts are not meant to be touched or twisted so water runs onto the floor.  This is unsanitary and inappropriate and will not be tolerated.  If it continues, water fountains will be turned off.

 

Softball practice begins Tuesday May 6 for all that can make it.
