DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
4/29/2008
General
It has been brought to my attention that some our students are going from Seminar to Seminar without any true academic purpose and mostly socializing. Seminar is to be regarded as important as any other academic time. Your Seminar students should not be leaving your rooms for any reason other than academic purposes. Seminar is not to be considered purely social time. We need to communicate together to make sure students are going where they suppose to be going and make them accountable. When Seminar is poorly utilized like I have noticed in the last few weeks, I find it hard to justify students needing a study hall. I know that spring weather sometimes makes it more difficult to keep our students on task, but we need consistency in making Seminar an academic time. Please remind your Seminar students of the purpose of Seminar. Seminar guidelines can be found on the high school Sharepoint. Thank you for your cooperation.
