to the boys and girls win over WCLT the medalist was Eric Krull with a 35 and Scott Evans was runner-up
with a 45. Haley Engelbarts was medalist
for the girls with a 51 and Michelle Boekelman with a
63.
Seniors need to report to the
multipurpose room at 8:50 today. Iowa College Planning Center is doing
two presentations that will be of value to you. Please bring a calculator
and something to write with.
The varsity golf team has a
meet today with Northwood. The team
will be excused at 2:25. The bus will board at the east side of the
school and leave at 2:35 today.
The FFA members that will be
attending State FFA Convention please meet with Mr. Meyer after eating lunch
today in his room. Everyone attending MUST be at the meeting.
No 9th hr. opt out
tomorrow (Wednesday) due to the shortened schedule.
Please dismiss the track
girls today at 2:45 for their meet in Clarion. Thank you.
Yearbook
working lunch today for yearbook staff helping with ad sales in Mr. Huntington’s
office.
Yearbook workshop will be
held today at 3:00 in the elementary media center.
The Merlyn R. Elman Memorial
Scholarship Deadline is this Friday.
Silver Cord Hours need to be
turned in no later than Monday, May 2nd.
Juniors and seniors who are attending prom may sign up
for Grand March and tables for the meal in the high school media center now
through next Wednesday, April 20th. Remember to get signed up
for After Prom as well.
Teachers and adults invited to prom are reminded to sign
up and pay for your meal in the business office by this Friday, April 15th.

Cheerleaders
that are planning on being on COMP SQUAD next year NEED to be at the Wednesday
7:45am meeting. This is regarding the new scoring system
and how it will affect us.

following students who received Division I ratings at the State Music
solo/ensemble festival this past Saturday: Troy Kettwick-vocal solo, Troy
Kettwick & Rachel Rolling-vocal duet, Bailey Hughes-vocal solo, Daniel Miller-trombone solo, Brandi Swenson-Saxophone
solo, and the Girl’s Vocal Ensemble consisting of Rachel Rolling, Jessica
Wubben, Bailey Hughes, Katie Jordal, Jessica Bruhns, Becca Davis, Brandi Swenson, Jenna Schutter,
and Morgan Kahler.
The working lunch Student Council meeting has been
rescheduled for today during lunch. Again, a picture will be taken for Student

Seniors--caps and gowns will
be distributed Friday, April 15th. You will need to pay $10 to
the business office and then you may pick your cap and gown.

Reminder:
Please bring in your Senior Photos for the yearbook as soon as you can, or you
can also email them to arnevik@northiowa.org. You can submit two different
poses.
FCCLA
is sponsoring a Prom Style Show on Wed. May 4th at 7 p.m. Everyone who would like to model in the show
should pick up a description form from the office or the FCS room, and return
it to Mrs. Larsen or e-mail it to her at larsen@northiowa.org. Deadline is April 27th.
If
there are any FCCLA members who would like to earn some silver cord hours by
providing Child Care during Kindergarten Round up, please tell Mrs.
Larsen. The roundup is being held on
Wednesday, April 13th at 6:30 pm.

please be sure to pay in cash. Prices with tax included are listed in both
locker rooms and in the media center. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Scholarship opportunity—Two $100 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors
who have been active in theater productions during their high school
years. You may pick up an application from Mrs. Hippen in the high school
media center. Applications are due May 2nd.
“$500 Scholarship for NIACC
by attending the free four day Youth
Entrepreneurial Academy (YEA). It is from Sunday, June 19 – Thursday,
June 23rd. You stay at the dorms during the week and all
expenses are paid. Complete applications as soon as possible which are
available in my office.
