General
Softball sign-up at 11:20 in High School auditorium. You will need a pencil.
The golf meet that was scheduled away vs. NSK will be played at Gruis on Monday, April 7.
*Centre Stage Players theater group will be offering two $100 scholarships for NI graduating seniors who have participated in theater productions during high school. Seniors may pick up the applications from Mrs. Hippen in the media center and return them to her by May 1, 2008.
Female & Male senior athletes: Application
forms for NI Athletic Booster Club Scholarships are now available in the
guidance office. Read the eligibility criteria carefully and then if you
qualify, complete the application form and return to Mr. Huntington by April 25th.
Any senior in band or chorus that is interested in applying for the Music Booster Scholarship, see Mr. Cook or Mrs. Kettwick for an application. Applications are due by April 14 to Lori Griffin.
Any FFA member wishing to show livestock at the Iowa State Fair needs to contact Mr. Gerzema by Friday. He needs to order the tags no later than Monday April 7th.

The HS Student Council will be sponsoring “I Hate Winter Day” on Friday, April 11. Periods 1 and 2 will be held at their normal scheduled time on this day (‘A’ day). Students will have the option of 6 different activities for the afternoon. They include: going to the YMCA (cost includes $4 for entrance) to swim, play racquetball, dodge ball, etc.; going Bowling at BC Lanes; going golfing at Gruis Recreation Center; playing board games, chess, and/or cards in the HS Media Center, watching movies in the HS Auditorium (movies yet to be decided), or playing Guitar Hero and Wii games in the Multi-purpose room. All students need to be signed up with Mr. Embrock by Friday, April 4. We will have an “I Hate Winter Day” meeting during Seminars on Wednesday, April 9 in the HS Auditorium to explain how the afternoon of April 11 will go.
All girls going to prom should stop and get a dress description sheet
from Mrs. Friesenborg for the prom style show. The show will be held the Tuesday after prom. (April 29, at 7:00)
Senior girls, their mothers, grandmothers, or a special
adult friend (female) are cordially invited to the Literary Circle Tea to be
held on Wednesday, April 16th at 1:30 p.m.(early dismissal
day). You must be signed up by April 8th.
There will be a football meeting today at 12:10 in the Multi Purpose Room for everyone interested in playing football next season. Any Questions ask Coach Eichenberger.
