General
TATU members should meet in Mrs. Aukes’s office on Monday, 3-31-08 from 11:59 am to 12:30 pm. Please bring a pen and paper.
Applications for summer employment in Thompson may be
obtained from Mrs. Anderson in the high school media center or from the
Senior girls, their mothers, grandmothers, or a special adult friend (female) are cordially invited to the Literary Circle Tea to be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 1:30 p.m.(early dismissal day). You must be signed up by April 8th.
Hunter Education Course is planned
A Hunter Education Class will be held again this spring at
the North Iowa Middle School in Thompson on two consecutive Saturdays – the 5th
and 12th of April. Classes
will start at 8:00 a.m. each day and students need to attend both sessions to
fulfill requirements for certification. The first Saturday will run from 8 a.m.
– 1 p.m. and the second Saturday will run from 8 a.m. to approximately 4:00
p.m. Lunch will be provided for the
second class on April 12th.
If students are interested they need to sign up in the Middle School
office or contact Brad Huntington at 584-2873 or e-mail at huntington@wctatel.net
There is no charge for this course and
pre-registration is required. Class size
is limited. Students must be 11 years
old to participate in the course.
No golf practice
today.
Students are
asked to use the upstairs hallway to travel from “old” building to new building
today after 1:00 pm. The Commons will be in use for the blood drive and
you will not be able to travel through the Commons. Thank you.
Students that are
first time blood donors and under
18 years of age are asked to give Mrs. Aukes their
parental permission form before noon.
Seniors—Please drop off a kid photo
and senior photo to Vicki in the office by April 7th. Thanks.

Sign up today in
the high school media center for Prom t-shirts, glasses, and photo cubes.
Samples are available to view by the sign up sheets. Sign up ends
Wednesday, April 2nd. If you do not sign up, items will NOT be
ordered for you. Any questions, contact Mrs. Anderson.
Baseball players
remember the deadline for selling butterbraids is
April 1. All of the money and order sheet needs to be
turned into Rena on or before that date. Thanks.
FFA members stop and pick an
application from Mr. Gerzema for the local
proficiency awards. Every member should turn in at least one application. They
are easy to complete and will be awarded at our Banquet April 21st.
To any FFA members interested in
attending the state Leadership conference in
FFA Banquet committee we need to
meet again soon.
