General

Students wishing to assist with the March 27th Blood Drive will have a meeting in Mrs. Aukes office today beginning at 11:30 am until 12:10 pm.  If you are interested in helping, let your seminar teacher know and you will eat first lunch.  Please pick up your lunch at 11:22 am and bring it to Mrs. Aukes office.

Jon Danielson will be here from the Iowa Blood Center to tell us about a scholarship opportunity.  At 12:10 pm, you may return to your seminar/lunch period.

 

The FFA will not be meeting Thursday. We will use a date later in the month after the school musical is finished.

 

Have you heard the buzz? 

Remedy Drive will be playing in concert next Wednesday, March 12th at 7:00pm at the Eagle Center in Lakota, IA.

And guess what else? There is NO ADMISSION CHARGE!  So, bring a bus-load of friends and don't miss out on the concert of the year! 

The concert is being sponsored by your friends at Sr. High L.I.F.E. in Ledyard.  Remember, Wednesday, March 12th, 7:00 pm---Doors open at 6:30—See you there!

 

Coach Smith and Coach Kakacek would like to meet with all girls in grades 9 - 11 who plan on participating in the girls basketball program next year at about 11:40 in the chorus room. It will only take a few minutes. Please be on time so those of you that may have to practice for the musical will be able to do so. Arin A knows about the meeting.

 

There will be a meeting of the National Honor Society at 11:40 Monday in Mr. Potter’s room.  Please be prompt.

 

Students may pick up their BLS cards in Mrs. Aukes office before or after school or during your lunch break.  Thank you

 

Elementary students are bowling on Tuesday and Thursday.  Times are: 10:30 – 11:20, 12:40 – 1:40 and 1:40 – 2:40.  If you would like to help, please email or see Mrs. V.  Thanks.

 

All pre-registration forms for 9 through 11 grades need to be turned in to the H.S. office (or to your seminar teacher) by Tuesday, March 11th.

 

Graduation announcement orders will be delivered on March 25th.  Bills will be sent in the mail to each parent before delivery.  You will need your total balance paid before receiving your graduation orders on March 25th.  They can be picked up from 11:22 to 12 noon that day.

 

Students performing in “Broadway Melody” plan on finishing our choreography on Monday, second seminar.  Juniors and freshmen eat first lunch and all actors/dancers report to the stage at 11:55.  This is your pass from seminar.  Thank you.  Any questions please ask Mrs. Anderson.
