Today’s lunch will be Mr. Hill’s pancakes.

 

Anyone participating in the Dodgeball Tournament need to have the Liability Waiver turned in to the office or turned into Melody Schlake by today to enter the tournament.

 

Nancy Hanevik will be here today after school in the multipurpose room with a display of tuxes for prom.  Please attend the meeting if you are interested in attending prom.  Tuxes need to be ordered now for prom in April.

 

FFA officers lets try to meet the last 10 minutes of your lunch break today. We have film clips during seminar.

 

There will be an FFA meeting Tuesday evening at 7:00. We will hold the FFA Olympics that night with a fun night planned of food and recreation.

 

Congratulations to the FFA speaking contestants last night. Advancing to districts March 1st at State Center:

Conduct of Meetings Team: 1st Place Gold - Logan, Tony, Jacob, Justin, Dylan, Mitchell, and Jimmy

Parliamentary Procedure Team: 1st  Gold - Janie, Kristine, Becca, Brent and Ben

Extemporaneous Speaker: 1st Gold - Holden A - Radio Broadcaster: 1st Gold - Rachel M.

Also congrats to Josh Crowder in Job Interview and Kirsten Johnson in Public Speaking Silver's not advancing

 

Senior band members, please report to the band room at 9:45 today for a picture.

 

Driver’s education spring session sign-up. The first class will be held March 8th and classes will run thru May 3rd. Driving may continue longer than the May 3rd date. Most classes are held on Saturday mornings starting at 8:00 running until 11:00. Driving times are Saturdays after classes and after school days to fit the students’ schedules. The cost for the class this year is $175.00 for in school district students and $190.00 for those out of the school district. Sign-up with Vicki Berschman in the high school office. Half of the class cost is expected at sign-up and the remainder before the first day of class.

 

High school students will have pre-registration of 08-09 classes at the following times:  Freshmen on Tuesday, February 26th during seminar; Sophomores on Wednesday, February 27th during seminar; and juniors on Thursday, February 28th during seminar.  This is preliminary registration only.
