The 7 Habits presentations by Kaplan University are still on for today.  The only difference is that 9th graders will miss the end of their 1st period instead of 2nd and 10th graders will miss the beginning of their 2nd period instead of 3rd.  This will shorten your time even more with these students so plan accordingly.  Thanks.

FFA Speaking contestants bring official dress with you to school tomorrow. We will be dismissed at 3:15 to get dressed.

 

The February FFA meeting will be held Tuesday night the 26th. It is our FFA Olympics competition and will be a fun evening.

 

We will need to leave Thursday Feb. 21st at 3:15 for our FFA Speaking contests. Please dissmiss the following so they can get into official dress. conduct tea - Logan H. Tony W. Jacob C. Justin S. Dylan B. Jimmy J. Mitch L.

Please note that the NIACC Automotive Careers Night and the Ag & Industrial Open House has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 5 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Would you please put this on your school announcements to make sure all students are aware of the rescheduled date. 

 

There will be a student council meeting on Thursday, at 11:45 in the multipurpose room.  This meeting will run into second seminar, so let your seminar teacher know if you must eat first lunch.  If you have any issues to discuss, talk with any student council member who will be attending the meeting.  Thanks.

 

Anyone participating in the Dodgeball Tournament need to have the Liability Waiver turned in to the office or turned into Melody Schlake by this Friday, February 22nd.  This is the deadline to enter the tournament.

 

Extra Help sessions are provided in the Study Center room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:00 pm for students wanting/needing some extra help with homework.  Most high school teachers are available before or after school to work with you as well.  If you need extra help with homework or need some guidance on assignments, the Extra Help sessions could be very helpful for you.  If transportation is a factor and keeps you from staying after school to get help, you are welcome to ride the shuttle bus.  Make sure you are doing everything you can to get homework and assignments completed and taking care of your academics.

 

Lunch for Friday will be Mr. Hill’s pancakes.  Mac and cheese meal will be next Friday, February 29th.

 

A women’s (girl’s) watch was found on the street in front of the school yesterday.  Please identify in the office.
