General

High School students must sign up each day if you want to eat lunch.  The cooks prepare accordingly.  This count needs to be as accurate as possible and sent to them before 9 a.m.  Thanks.

 

If you are absent due to an appointment, please bring a note from the office in which you visited to verify your absence. (There may be times that the office will call the school rather give a note to the student). The school needs to verify all absences regardless of personal opinion.  Thanks for your cooperation.

 

The 4th period Algebra II test will be today.  Any students who want to review should come to Mr. De Boer's 2nd seminar today.  Stop in and get a pass from Mr. De Boer to give to your regular seminar teacher and eat first lunch today if you want to come to the review.

 

The 2007 North Football Highlight tape is finished anyone who wishes to buy a copy needs a dollar and to talk to Coach Eichenberger.

 

Student Council members will have a meeting on Thursday, February 14 over lunch and seminar.  All student council members should eat first lunch and go to the multi-purpose room for working lunch/meeting.  If you have any items that you want on the agenda, please contact Nolan Hovland.

 

Any FFA member that is interested in applying for the State FFA Chorus or State FFA Band needs to talk to Mr. Gerzema Today.

 

Jostens will be here for 9th grade class ring presentation tomorrow. The presentation will be held in the multipurpose room at 11:22.  Parents are invited to attend the presentation.   He will be back at North Iowa to take orders on Thursday, February 21st.

 

Reminder--Extra Help sessions are provided in the Study Center room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:00 pm for students wanting/needing some extra help with homework.  Most high school teachers are available before or after school to work with you as well.  If you need extra help with homework or need some guidance on assignments, the Extra Help sessions could be very helpful for you.  If transportation is a factor and keeps you from staying after school to get help, you are welcome to ride the shuttle bus.  Make sure you are doing everything you can to get homework and assignments completed and taking care of your academics.
