Congratulations to the girls in their district win last night. They will play in the semi-finals against WCLT at 7 p.m. Saturday night. Please come to the game and support our girls.
If you are absent due to an appointment, please bring a note from the office in which you visited to verify your absence. (There may be times that the office will call the school rather give a note to the student). The school needs to verify all absences regardless of personal opinion. Thanks for your cooperation.
Freshmen speech people will meet in the auditorium during first seminar today for a picture and varsity speech will meet during 2nd seminar in the auditorium for a picture today.
Any wrestler who hasn't turned in their uniform please bring it to me in the wrestling room on Friday after school. Thanks, Coach Henn
The North Iowa bowlers will have their substate meet
tomorrow, February 9th at
front of Buffalo Lanes tomorrow at 8:00 am sharp. For more information check under Coach Aukes sharepoint on the home page. Spectators are encouraged to support the team at Carroll.
The dance will be Saturday night in the auditorium from 8:30 to 11:30. The coronation will be held around 9:00. The cost of the dance is $3.00 and $5.00. If you have any out of town guests you need to sign them up in Vicki's office.
FFA and FCCLA members vote for Valentine sweetheart and king by noon today.
Students are reminded again that you need to have your passports with you whenever you are passing from one room to the next during classtime. If you need more sheets in your passport book, there are runoff ones on the counter in the office you may pick up.
The Writing and Technology class have been working on the first edition of our school newspaper. It is in the media center and posted in the hallways. We hope you enjoy it!
The ACT test is being held here tomorrow. Please bring No.2 pencils, calculator, admission sheets, dress in layers. Enter by the east doors by Mr. Hill's office. BE HERE BY 7:45 a.m.
Iowa FFA Degree application work right after school today in the media center. We will probably need to work some this weekend since they are due on Tuesday.
Mr. Gerzema still needs 2 workers for the concession on Saturday night for the final home tournment game. Contact him if interested today.

There will be a prom committee meeting on Wednesday, February 13th during first seminar in the ICN room. All juniors who signed up to be on the prom committee should plan on attending. If you can not be there please let Mrs. Anderson know.
