AFRICAN/AMERICAN WEEK: The Climate/Culture Committee has set January 20-24 as African/American Week. We invite all administration, faculty, and staff to take part in activities this week. On Wednesday, January 22, 2 p.m., there will be a culminating activity with Lem Sheppard. He will present "A Legacy of Song." Lem sings and strums his guitar as he traces the history from the Industrial
Revolution and the civil War.
Please send Diane Coy a synopsis of what activity or activities you are planning for that week and include grade level and class. Please do this by Friday, January 17.
Please check your e-mail for a "Reflections on Hispanic Week Activities" form to be filled out at the end of the week. In your e-mail are also good web sites to find more information for this week.
Don't forget your "Many Cultures One World" buttons you received last year.
