Congratulations to the Sweetheart Dance, King and Sweetheart
candidates:
Today the newspapers would like to take a picture in the Family Consumer Science room at 12:00.
The Sweetheart Dance is this Friday night after the Garner game from 9:30 - 11:30. If you songs you would like used during the dance sign them up in the office by Wednesday. Also sign up any out of town dates.
FFA and FCCLA members Tuesday during seminar report to the Ag. or the FCS rooms to vote on the Sweetheart and King candidates.
Mr. Gerzema would like to meet with Maranda E., Katie H., Macy H., Blake H., Anna S., Gabe T., Taylor T., and Alex W. today during the 1st seminar.
Only seniors who have turned in their permission slips are free to have open lunch.
Any Seniors or Juniors interested in helping out with Daffodil Days, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, should talk to the HS Office ASAP. We could use at least 10 more helpers. Helping with Daffodil Days can count toward the Silver Cord program.

Please turn in your Study Table approval forms ASAP.
Study Tables run from 3:30-4:30 pm on Monday-Thursday in the HS Media Center. Teachers will inform you if you are referred to Study Table and which day you need to attend. We will try to give you at least one day notice so you can make arrangements for transportation.
Student Council will have a meeting tomorrow during 1st lunch in the FCS room (Mrs. Larsen’s room).

The FCCLA will be selling Valentine messages this week only, Monday thru Friday during lunch. For $1, you may purchase a Sticker and write a special message to your Valentine. It will be attached to a can of FANTA pop and delivered during the last hour of Feb. 13th. (B day) Flavors available will be orange, strawberry, or grape.
You need to know what class your Valentine has 8th hour.
FCCLA members- We need volunteers to sell Valentine messages during lunch this week. No one has signed up for Monday through Thursday. If you are willing to sell during the first lunch, please come to the FCS room and pick up the envelope with the messages and change.
Note to seniors: There has been a change as to
the due date for senior pictures—February 13th. One senior
picture needs to be given to the high school office for the composite.

A winter fitness club that meets in the gym lobby starting at 3:45 each Tuesday and Thursday. It is open to anyone wanting to be active whether for athletics or just to be fit. Contact Mr. Potter if would like more information – otherwise we’ll see you there.
The musical this year is "Annie Get Your Gun." It's a fun story with great music! Auditions will be held again today (this is the final day for tryouts). Contact Mrs. Kettwick if you are interested in trying-out.

North Iowa High School Dodge Ball Tournament will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the North Iowa Gym. $60 per team of 8 to 10 people. Must pay in advance and must be registered by Monday, February 16. Contact Joy Gelhaus at 515-886-2220 to register. Thanks for supporting After Prom.
