General
FCCLA will work the concession stand on Friday night. Members need to sign up for a time to work. The list is outside the FCS room.
FCCLA will meet during 1st seminar on today. Everyone should try and be there to help plan for the Sweetheart Dance.
The F/S girls and boys basketball teams will be leaving @
3:00 for their game at
Student Council will have a working lunch today in the multipurpose room.
Tomorrow the high school will have a winter student recognition/pep rally. Students will be dismissed from classes at 2:45 pm and go straight to the HS gym.

The following freshman need to stop in the High School Office to pick up their elementary/MS annual: Carrie Berschman, Scott Evans, Philip Griese, Megan Julsrud-Wertjes, Jebediah Kothenbeutel, Allyson Leesch, Laura Mastin, McKensie Meinders, Justin Steinfeldt, Brandi Swenson, Harley Wiedemeier, Tony Wubben, Rachel Rolling.
Update on high school basketball games
1. Armstrong - JV Boys and Varsity Boys Canceled
2. Osage - JV Boys and Varsity Boys will make it up on Feb. 7th. Girls will not play Osage
3. Belmond - JV Girls and JV Boys will play before the varsity games on Feb. 5th at Belmond
The FFA Week committee will meet during 2nd seminar today in the ag room. Shanie you will need to eat 1st lunch.
One of our community members would like to thank two students for their help and thoughtfulness following Monday night's game. This person was walking to her car, and had decided to try to go over a snow bank instead of walking on the icy street. She realized that crossing the snow bank wasn't such a good idea either. Just then two of our students asked if they could help, and each one grabbed an arm to help her to her car. She is not sure who it was, but wanted to thank them for their assistance. A helping hand goes a long ways!
