Student Council will meet during 1st lunch today in the Multi-purpose room.
Only seniors who have turned their permission slips are free to have open lunch.
Seniors – You need to pay your $20 by Friday.
Study Table starts today in the HS Media Center. Your Seminar teacher or Mr. Embrock will inform you if you are referred to Study Table and which day you are expected to arrive. Any student may voluntarily attend Study Table as long as you sign up in the HS Office by noon. Thank you.
We are starting a new Study Table program for students who need/want help with homework. Students will be referred to Study Table by the discretion of the teachers or may voluntarily attend. We will try to give one day notice so you can make transportation arrangements. Any student may attend the Study Table, but you need to be signed up by noon with Mr. Embrock. Study Tables will run Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm in designated classrooms.
Freshmen and Sophomores will report to the Auditorium during 1st Seminar for a presentation on Thursday, January 29. Juniors and Seniors will report to the Auditorium during 2nd Seminar on January 29 also.

the due date for senior pictures—February 13th. One senior
picture needs to be given to the high school office for the composite.

FFA Concession stand workers Tuesday night are Anna Skarpohl-Ost, Macy Heetland, Maranda Eichenberger, and Colby Smith. Be at the stand and let Mr. Gerzema know if you have a conflict.
Attention to anyone wanting to be active over the winter months! There will be a winter fitness club that meets in the gym lobby each Tuesday and Thursday at 3:45 starting this week. It is open to anyone wanting to be active whether for athletics or just to be fit. Contact Mr. Potter if would like more information – otherwise we’ll see you there.
We will have a 1st Semester recognition rally and winter activities pep rally on Friday, January 30 at 2:50 pm in the HS Gym. The afternoon classes will be shortened.
The musical this year is "Annie Get Your Gun." It's a fun story with great music! Auditions will be Thursday and Friday of this week and Monday next week. More details will be in the announcements as far as the exact times. Contact Mrs. Kettwick if you are interested in trying-out.
Anyone interested in individual speech – tryouts will be held February 4th. Please be looking for a piece. If you have questions or need help, please email me. (Mrs. Schutjer)
North Iowa High School Dodge Ball Tournament will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the North Iowa Gym. $60 per team of 8 to 10 people. Must pay in advance and must be registered by Monday, February 16. Contact Joy Gelhaus at 515-886-2220 to register. Thanks for supporting After Prom.
Attention all Senior bowlers, please bring your bowling shirts to practice on Wednesday for a picture.
The Bison FFA will have a meeting on Thursday, January 30th during second seminar. Meet in Mr. Gerzema's room. We have some important things to discuss, so please show up. Thanks!
FCCLA meets today during 2nd seminar in the FCS room. Freshmen and sophomores should eat 1st lunch and come to the meeting. Pictures will be taken of the officers and those that participated in the district meeting lip sync contest.
