Congratulations to the speech team on Saturday.  12 of their 15 Large Group entries received a "1" at districts and will advance to state.

 

All those going to State Speech must stop by practice today after school.

 

Starting today the boys and girls locker rooms will be locked throughout the day.  If you have any items that you need from the locker rooms, you need to get them before school starts or wait until the end of the school day.

 

Mr. Gerzema would like to meet for a short meeting with the following freshmen during the beginning of seminar today. Let your seminar teachers know the meeting should take about 15 minutes. Logan H. James J. Justin S. Tony W. Dylan B. Jacob C. Mitchell L. and Laura M.

 

FFA concession workers Friday night are: Cody A. Justin S. Jebediah K. and Remi B. Arrive at the stand at 6:10 and find your own replacement if you have a conflict.

 

Senior FFA members meet with Mr. Gerzema Tuesday during seminar concerning Iowa FFA Degrees.

 

Seniors:  Driving during open campus is not allowed.  This evidently was not communicated to you.  Your Open Campus Permission Form does specify that driving is not allowed.  Sorry for any confusion.  Make sure you turn your Open Campus Permission Form into the HS office by Monday morning.

 

Our Film Clips session that we were suppose to have last Friday will be made up tomorrow.  We will also have a Film Clips session on Friday, January 25.

 

Extra Help sessions are provided in the Study Center room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:00 pm for students wanting/needing some extra help with homework.  Most high school teachers are available before or after school to work with you as well.  If you need extra help with homework or need some guidance on assignments, the Extra Help sessions could be very helpful for you.  If transportation is a factor and keeps you from staying after school to get help, you are welcome to ride the shuttle bus.  Make sure you are doing everything you can to get homework and assignments completed and taking care of your academics.
