The Freshmen/Sophomore players bus will be leaving for Forest City at 2:55 today. Please dismiss all JV girls and boys players at 2:45. Thank you! The varsity players bus will leave at 4:55 today. Make sure you have your uniforms, shoes, etc.. We will pick up in Thompson.)

 

Geometry will review for the test today and take the test on Wednesday.  It will count on the second quarter grade.

 

The students that participated in the Garner Humanities challenge are to report to the hallway by the main office at 11:55 on Monday to get their picture taken.  Please be prompt.

 

Seniors need to pay $20 to the HS office to help pay for caps, gowns, stoles, and flowers for graduation.  Please pay by the end of January.

 

All seniors will continue to have open lunch this week, unless you have talked to Mr. Embrock or have not turned in slips.

Olivia, Joy, and Marcus--I need to have a meeting with you about the yearbook.  Please figure out a date that will work during seminar or after school.  Thanks Travis

 

Jazz Band will rehease during 2nd seminar today.

 

The wrestling meet against Osage will be made up on Jan. 27. It will be part of a double duel meet with Forest City and will begin at 6:00.

 

The end of the semester will be Tuesday, January 20th.  Make-up days for our missed school days can be found on the NICS homepage.

 

Volunteers are needed to help with the Clover Kids program, please read the following description.

Clover Kids is for Kindergarten and 1st graders and meets once a month for 1 hour and 15 minutes.  We have snacks, do crafts and play games.  Meetings are January 20, February 19, March 19, April 16 and May 19 from 3:25-4:40 in the old cafeteria.

Attention to anyone wanting to be active over the winter months!  There will be a winter fitness club that meets in the gym lobby each Tuesday and Thursday at 3:45 starting this week.  It is open to anyone wanting to be active whether for athletics or just to be fit.  Contact Mr. Potter if would like more information – otherwise we’ll see you there.
