3rd
hour is shortened to 1:50 and 4th hour runs until 3:10 today.
Students
are dismissed at 3:10 for the pep rally.
Students should report immediately to the auditorium at that time for the pep rally.
The
following FFA members are working the concession stand tonight, Dylan Balvance, Brett Stenersen we need
2 more FFA members to help work tonight’s concession stand. Please see
Mr. Meyer if you can help. Workers should be here by 4:00pm.
Speech
- Readers will practice every morning at 7:15.
I will also be in BC after school today and Friday for any group that
wants to practice. Contest is in Britt
on the 23rd.
Jazz
Band will rehearse during seminar today.
RETRO
night is back! Tonight has been designated as Retro night! Dig through your
closet and show up in your favorite attire from your favorite decade-gone-by.
Best dressed fans (students and fans) will be recognized at half time!)
The
end of the 1st Semester is tomorrow. Make sure you are getting
all work done for each of your teachers. All work needs to be handed in
by tomorrow.
All
2nd Semester schedules need to be finalized by the end of this
week. The 2nd Semester will start on Monday, January 18
(regardless of anymore days missed).
Juniors
will take the ASVAB test on Friday, January 22 rather than Friday, January 15.
A
Prom Book for this year's dresses will be available in the FCS room starting
this afternoon. Bring in a picture of
your dress to put in as soon as you have purchased it.

If you were previously signed up for text alerts on your phone and were
an Alltel customer who is now Verizon customer your phone’s email address has
changed and you will need to sign up for the text alerts again.
Students---Please show your
respect and school pride by standing during the school song and during the
announcing of the players prior to the basketball games. We want our
community to be proud of our awesome school spirit and sportsmanship and also
want opponents to respect us and even be envious of us. Please do your
part in displaying great sportsmanship at all of our events and positively
supporting our co-curricular activities.
Students---Show your skills during halftime of the girls and
boys home basketball games! For $1, attempt a 3-point shot and if you make it,
we’ll double your money! Join Student Council tonight for the halftime Hoop
Shoot and challenge your friends to join you!

Winter Fitness club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the winter months. New for
