Lunch today is Grilled ham and cheese, baked beans, corn chips, berries.

 

Today is the first day of 2nd semester.  If you have any questions concerning your schedule, please see Mr. Embrock this morning.  Good luck and have a great 2nd semester.

 

There will be a working lunch junior prom meeting in the ICN room tomorrow.  Any junior on the committee should report with your lunch to the ICN room at the beginning of the period.

 

Anyone interested in being a big buddy, one day a week for 20 minutes during your P.E. study hall should email Sarah Anderson with the day you have your study hall.  You must be passing all your classes and be a good role model to be a big buddy.

 

FFA meeting tonight 7:00pm in the H.S. Media Center, wear FFA jackets.

 

Workers for Friday night’s basketball games are: Anna Sharpohl-Ost, Macy Heetland, Gabe Thomsen, Taylor Thomsen, Garrett Asmus, Derek Jensen, Bella Ruhnke, Kory Hobbs.  Please arrive by 4:30 pm and if you can’t work find a replacement.

 

Workers for Saturday afternoon basketball games are: Derek Yegge, Tate Corporon, Josh Hofbauer, Dalton Berte, Brandi Swenson, Shannie Hamsmith, Tristan Boehm.  Please arrive by 12:30 pm and if you can’t work, find a replacement.

 

FFA Conduct of Meetings team meet with Mr. Meyer during study hall today Kory Hobbs, Troy Kettwick, Justin Murray, Nick Kahler, Mark Milbrandt, Daniel Miller, Jon Wubben.

 

Individual Speech Contest sign up sheet is in Mr. Fisher's room.  Be sure to get signed up before 1/21.

 

Readers theatre practice Friday 7:30 AM in Mr. Fisher's room Choral reading 9th period Thursday and Friday in Mr. Fisher's room Improve groups please set practice times with Ms. Mayland.

 

The 11th graders will be taking the ASVAB test on Friday.  The test will start at 8:30 and run until about 11:15-11:30.  Please take attendance, read announcement and take lunch count in your first period classes before sending them to the multi-purpose room.

 

Please excuse the wrestlers from class at 2:45 on Thursday and at 2:25 on Friday so we can make our meets on time. Thank you.

 

High school students needing to complete CPR certification skills or exam need to talk to Mrs. Aukes this week about when to finish certification requirements.  Payment of $6.00 is needed by Friday, 01-14-2010 for your CPR card.  Please make a check out to NIACC for $6.00. 

 

Students that ordered letter jackets can expect them to be shipped January 27th and at the school the first week of February.

 

Juniors and Seniors need to sign up to work Saturday at the Post Prom event. Rootbeer floats and Taco-in-a-bag will be sold that night. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board outside Vicki's office.

 

Seniors please bring your senior photos that you want in the yearbook to the high school office.  You can have one formal and one casual photo and if you want to email photos send to arnevik@northiowa.org

 

Just a reminder to all those wanting to be active over the winter months – we have a winter fitness club that meets on Mondays and Thursdays after school at 3:40-4:30.  If you have any questions, contact Mr. Potter.

 

Volleyball players if you did not turn in your uniform, please do this a.s.a.p. to Coach Judge.  Thanks!
