Meet with
Students: Remember that driving conditions can be quite challenging during these winter months. You need to give yourself plenty of time to get to school. We will not keep excusing students for poor road conditions if they do not proactively give themselves more time to get to school on time. Thanks for your cooperation and drive safe!
All juniors and seniors will have a meeting about Daffodil Days in the Auditorium during Seminar on Monday, January 14. Daffodil Days is a fundraising campaign by the American Cancer Society and an effort to bring awareness to cancer. This could be a great opportunity for any junior and senior to help bring community awareness to the topic of cancer and help the community. Helping with Daffodil Days is also a great opportunity for a community service project.
All students are required to report their scheduled class periods, including Seminar, on time and as scheduled. There is no wandering around during any class, Seminar, or lunch. If you in the halls during regularly scheduled class periods, you need to have your planner/passport or a pass from a teacher with you. If you are not where you are suppose to be, disciplinary action will result.
Any student who is tardy from any class or Seminar will be serving a detention. You must serve your detention within 2 days of receiving it. You must serve 15 minutes for your 1st tardy and 30 minutes for any tardy thereafter. If you arrive late to your first period, you must report to the HS office first. If you are late to any other class, your teacher will record it on their attendance and inform you of your tardy. Make sure you are on time for all of your classes and avoid serving any detentions.
All students (with the exception of seniors with open campus privileges) need to be in the lunch commons or the HS gym lobby (or gym itself) during lunch. Students are not allowed to go anywhere else unless they have permission from Mr. Embrock or the lunch room supervisor.
Any student who is absent from the school day or part of the school day needs to have their parents communicate the reason for the absence to the school with a note, email, or phone call. Any absence where a communication has not been made by a parent/guardian will be considered unexcused. Please remind your parents to make sure they communicate with the school on your absences.
