General

The 1st Semester will end on Friday, January 11 (an ‘A’ day) and we will have a 1:30/1:50 pm dismissal.  You should have your 2nd Semester schedule set.  If not, you need to talk to Mr. Huntington or Mr. Embrock as soon as possible.  The 2nd Semester will be starting on Monday, January 14 and will be a ‘B’ day.  If you have any questions, please ask your teachers of talk to the HS office. 

 

Seniors, your senior class flower is the rose (with colors representing your community).

 

We will have an assembly on Tuesday, January 15 at 8:30 am in the Auditorium.

 

Extra Help sessions are provided in the Study Center room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:00 pm for students wanting/needing some extra help with homework.  Most high school teachers are available before or after school to work with you as well.  If you need extra help with homework or need some guidance on assignments, the Extra Help sessions could be very helpful for you.  If transportation is a factor and keeps you from staying after school to get help, you are welcome to ride the shuttle bus.  Make sure you are doing everything you can to get homework and assignments completed and taking care of your academics.

 

Jazz Band will rehearse 2nd seminar on Wednesday.

Student Council:  We will be working the concession stand tomorrow night for the Varsity Wrestling matches.  Please let me know if you cannot attend.  Thank you.

 

On Monday, January 21, we will play the Armstrong-Ringsted boys at Armstrong not at home. On the work schedule it had it as a home game.  Sorry for any confusion.

 

The varsity girls will host CWL in the first round of tournaments on Thursday, Feb. 7th at 7:00. The winner will play WCLT on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7:00 also at Buffalo Center. There is only one game per night.

 

Elmore Academy has canceled the rest of their girls’ games for the season. There will be one boys’ game at Elmore on Jan. 22 at 6:30 and no girls.
