The
following students need to see Mr. De Boer during seminar today: Maranda Eichenberger, Haley Engelbarts, Kenny Halvorson, Macy Heetland,
Makayla Heetland, Reese
Nelson and Garrett Smith. Bring the Geometry quiz I handed back to you
yesterday.
A
yearbook CHRISTMAS party will be held TODAY during seminar. All yearbook
members attend the celebration!
There
will be a student council meeting today in my room at 11:50. Student Council
members are to be dismissed at 11:45 for lunch and then head to my room for a
‘working lunch’ meeting.
Bowling
practice will be 3:45 to 6:00 today.
Cheerleaders
are excused till 5:00.
Any
junior or senior student who needs help with their 2nd Semester
schedule must meet with Mr. Embrock today during
Seminar.
Any
sophomore or freshman student who needs help with their 2nd Semester
schedule must meet with Mr. Embrock Thursday or
Friday during Seminar.
To
kick off the first home games of a brand new decade we are going RETRO! Friday
will be Retro Night! Pick your favorite decade and dress up for the day! We
will recognize best dressed participants (students and fans) at half time of
the last game! Have a Fun and Happy 2010!
The
deadline for early registration for the February 6th is today,
January 5th. Go to www.actstudent.org to
register. Our high school code is 160535. The test center code for
Speech
- TV News, Readers, Radio, and Improv will practice
Thursday and Friday after school.
Speech
- I need to know if you plan to go to Large Group Districts for group improv. We have to
sign up today.
The
semester will be done next week so make sure all assignments,
projects, etc. are getting completed. If you are having difficulties with
homework, work with your teachers (before or after school or during Seminar)
and/or stay after for Study Tables.
North
Iowa Alerts - Text Messages on your phone:
If you were previously signed up for text alerts on your phone and were
an Alltel customer who is now Verizon customer your phone’s email address has
changed and you will need to sign up for the text alerts again.
Students---Please show your
respect and school pride by standing during the school song and during the
announcing of the players prior to the basketball games. We want our
community to be proud of our awesome school spirit and sportsmanship and also
want opponents to respect us and even be envious of us. Please do your
part in displaying great sportsmanship at all of our events and positively
supporting our co-curricular activities.
Students---Show your skills during halftime of the girls and
boys home basketball games! For $1, attempt a 3-point shot and if you make it,
we’ll double your money! Join Student Council tonight for the halftime Hoop
Shoot and challenge your friends to join you!

reminder that the Winter Fitness club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the winter
