Lunch today is: Hot dog on bun, chips, carrots, apricots.

Reminder that the end of 2^nd quarter/1^st semester will be next Thursday, January 12^th. Friday, January 13^th, will be the start of 2^nd semester!!

There are no opt out days this week.

Wrestlers should be reporting to their respective homerooms before being dismissed for practices. Once you report to your homeroom, you will be excused to practice.

Reminder – There is a Financial Aid Meeting at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the Multi-purpose room.  All senior parents and students are welcome to attend.

Registration deadline for the February 11^th ACT test is January 13^th. Go to www.actstudent.org to register.

There will be a working lunch today for the Speech Short Film Group in the ICN room.  After you’ve gotten your lunch please come to the ICN Room as quickly as you can. 

P.E. waiver sheets are needed before second semester.  These forms can be picked up in the main office.

Any one interested in participating in the NASP archery tournament  in Des Moines please plan to attend a meeting on Thursday in the health room with Mrs. Steffensen and Mr. Huntington. We will have information about the tournament and when practices will be held. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Steffensen. The tournament will be in February.

Seniors can submit two senior photos for the yearbook, one more formal photo and the other casual if you would like.  The photos can be emailed to arnevik@northiowa.org   or the photos can be brought to the guidance office at the high school.  Please submit the photos as soon as possible.   

FOOTBALL players from the 2011 season need to stop in the ELEMENTARY MEDIA CENTER and see Dy to sign cards before Friday.

We will be hosting the Coaches v Cancer game on Jan 27^th against Newman. We are once again selling t-shirts with the profits being donated to Coaches v Cancer. Boys and Girls Bball players ONLY should order through their shirts through the coach since they will have a different colored shirt. All other orders will be for TEAL shirts. Order forms showing the graphic are on the home page or in the HS Media Center. Orders and payments need to be turned in to DY by Monday the 16^th.

When we have Inclement Weather: Make sure you are checking the North Iowa Community School website or the television or radio for any late start or cancellation announcements. If you are signed up to receive emails or text messages, you can receive notification this way also.
